Chapter 8

Maria P.O.V.
We got back in my apartment to change and take some money. We got in my car and went to the shop, and let me tell you... NEVER. GO. SHOP. WITH  MILIE. AND. ANGELA. They picked two pieces of every snack they found that they liked, and they would pick even more if our shopping cart wasn't already full... I paid for snacks with my credit card and we packed it the car and went back to the apartment to leave it there. When we finished we got back on the beach to wait for boys.
-I can't believe you actually agreed to this Maria...- Milie said to me,
-You two know I can't resist your puppy eyes... They are way too cute.
-Just like me I assume hehe- I haven't even noticed the brothers were standing behind us until Asmo spoke.
-Oh you are finally here, let’s go.- I said and started walking to the apartment with all of them following me.
-Whoa this apartment is really pretty, and OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT BED IN THE LIVINGROOM!- Belphie said before he jumped on it.
-Well I think I don't need to say make yourselves at home since you already did...- I said sarcastically, but I was laughing since Milie jumped right next to him.
-Whoooooa you have the PS4 with all new games on it!!!- Levi sat in front of the TV immediately.
-Uh yeah we can play if you want, but I am really good just so you know.- I said to him and went to the kitchen where I found Angela and Beel already eating snacks.
-Sorry for interrupting you, but those snacks are for all of us you know?- I said while laughing.
-Oooh yeah sorry I got hungry.- Beel said between munches. I got some snacks and soda and went back in the living room where everyone made themselves comfortable
-Ok so about the sleeping schedule. I will go straight up and say than Milie and Belphie can take one room and Angela and Beel can take the other-
-What? W-why is that?- Milie said with her eyes wide open, and Angela and the twins had the same expression.
-Ok you think I'm dumb huh? I can tell when people start to date just by looking at them  And don't you go denying anything to me because it won’t work.- I said with the most serious face but I was laughing inside. "ž
-Ughh fine, yeah we are dating. But I don't understand how you haven’t started lecturing us already.- I rolled my eyes.
-Angela, I might be the oldest of the three of us but I am not a boomer ok? Now what’s with the others, who sleeps where? There are two more rooms with king-sized beds and... my room.
-I will share a room with Satan, Levi and Mammon can share a room and you and Lucifer also share a room. Everyone agrees? Everyone agrees okay good.- Asmo said that sentence so fast that I needed a moment to proceed everything.
-No I can sleep here in the living room, I don't mind.- Lucifer said with a smile but he hadn't sounded happy about it... could it be that he feels the same about me like I do about him? Pft like I care either way there will never be anything between us. Not after what I experienced with man before...
-No its fine I have a king-sized and a queen-sized bed in my room so you can sleep on the queen-sized one. Just don't touch my stuff..
-O-okay if you say so, and don't worry I won’t. I know how is it like when someone is sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong.- He looked at Mammon who quickly said that it was just one time and that he had learned his lesson after Lucifer hanged him upside-down on the chandelier. We all busted out laughing and Mammon was clearly not happy about it because he started growling at us playfully.
Everyone seemed to be in their conversations so much that they didn't notice when I disappeared to my room. I got a blanket and my cigarettes and went on the balcony waiting. I had a feeling Lucifer will come look for me, and I wasn't wrong. Few moments later he came in the room. He went to my desk and started to look at my drawings.
-I am pretty sure I told you to not look at my stuff- I said with an eyebrow raised. He looked at me and just as he was about to say something i turned around and went back to my seat.
Lucifer P.O.V.
I was so focused on my argument with Satan that I haven't realized when Maria left the room. I decided to go to her room to see if she is okay. I opened the leather black door and walked in. Her room was all black, not a single thing in any other color was there. I saw some pencils and sketchbooks on her desk and I needed to check that out. I know she said I couldn't look at her stuff but... Oh my... Her drawings are amazing. Just as I was about to flip another page in her book I heard her say
-I am pretty sure I told you to not look at my stuff.- She was looking at me with that adorable but also scary look on her face with her left eyebrow raised, and just as I was about to compliment her drawing, she turned around and went back on the balcony.
I followed her and when I stepped on the balcony I saw her with a blanket over her shoulders and a cigarette between her fingers.
-I was hoping you would come look for me. We need to talk.- And then the door to the balcony slammed behind me and I heard the key being flipped. I looked inside and realized there is no one there... she did it...
She slammed the door behind me and locked it without moving from her chair.
-I am pretty sure you already know who I am since Diavolo probably sent you here to find it out.- I wasn't sure if she is Diavolo's niece, but I was assuming it...
-Now listen to me and listen carefully because I don't repeat myself. If you call Diavolo to come here before I am sure he is no threat for my friends, I will make your brothers suffer and make you watch it. I might look like a ray of sunshine, but if you try to hurt someone special to me I will show you no mercy.- her tone was low but dangerous, if I wasn't demon myself I would run and never come back. She then slowly turned her head towards me, but instead of her normal charcoal black eyes, she had bright blue eyes that were literally shinning and she had iron fangs sticking out of her mouth.
-Evie-
-DON'T CALL ME THAT. I HATE THAT NAME AND I WILL NEVER ACCEPT IT... she yelled at me but her voice sounded really painful...
-Maria, I hate saying this to you but... I have already called Diavolo this morning just because I wanted him to meet the three of you since we became really close friends and he needs a vacation just as much as we do...- She went pale.
Maria P.O.V.
-... I have already called Diavolo this morning...- No. nonono. This can't be no. I tried to keep calm but I couldn't. My demon eyes disappeared along with my fangs and I was my normal self again.
-D-does he want me dead? I haven't seen him since… for ages, haven't seen him for ages...- I can't tell him what broke my family apart. I don't know if I can trust him...
-No no no. The reason he sent us here to check is it really you is because he haven't seen you in ages and he wants to see you again.- I narrowed my eyes at him. He wasn't lying as long as I can tell. I relaxed.
-Fine. If he is not a threat I would gladly meet up with him again. But just make sure he hears my warning about hurting my friends. Same thing I told you goes to him.- Lucifer seemed very satisfied with my answer and he gave me a big smile.
-Okay I will go tell him that right now than- he said to me, or I think he said it, I got lost when he smiled... “Maria calm down. Main aren’t shit remember” the voice in my mind pushed me back in reality.
-I should probably unlock the door then.- There was a little click and Lucifer opened the door and left my room. I need to go take a shower to calm down a little bit. I can't let myself catch feeling for him. No, I hate men and I will never stop hatting them...
