ALTHEA'S P.O.V.

I began heading down the corridor, I now had a free period. The girls, however, did not and had to get to Coaches economics class. I headed outside and took a seat on the steps in front of the school. Still trying to push the memory of my fathers death out of memory. I then felt the presence of someone behind me, I slowly turned around to see Theo, "What do you want?" I groaned. "You're an angry little wolf, aren't you?" He stated. "Oh yeah, do you ever wonder why?" I raised an eyebrow. "Come on Althea, it was fourth grade. That was almost nine years ago." He groaned. "I don't care. You made my life hell." I said as I rose to my feet and began walking away. He followed behind me, "I was... What? Nine years old?" He questioned. "You were still a bully... And why the hell are you following me?" I questioned as I stopped in my tracks and turned to him.

He stopped too and simply smiled at me. "Thea..." He began. "It Althea to you." I replied as I sat in the empty stands on the lacrosse field. "I was a dumb kid in fourth grade, come on. You can't still be pissed off about that." He said. "You're like a broken record on repeat. Get it into your thick skull Theodore, I don't like you. I'm not forgiving you and you never should've come back here." I spat maliciously. "Well, you'll be happy to hear that I didn't come back for you." "What?" I asked. "I came back because I heard of an alpha in Beacon Hills, when I found out his name was Scott McCall I had to come back. I came back for a chance to get into Scott's pack." He told me. I raised an eyebrow before grabbing a book from my backpack, "So, why are you an omega? You do know they never survive in the wild alone?" He asked me. "Lord, give me strength." I groaned as I turned to him. "I left my pack, alright." I replied. "Why?" He questioned. "None of your business." I retorted.

"Were you in Scott's pack?" He asked me. "Nope." I replied as I finally opened my book and began reading. That's when Stiles came over, dragging Scott behind him. "Thea." Stiles nodded at me. "Mind if we steal Theo for a second?" He asked. "Not at all." I smiled at my best friends brother. I then turned to Theo, "Looks like it's time for you to annoy someone else." I smirked. "Later, Raeken." I said as I waved him off. He nodded before getting up and following Scott and Stiles over to the locker room.

STILE'S P.O.V.

I dragged Scott with me towards the stands where I knew Theo was, I still didn't trust the guy. He was sitting talking to Thea although she looked like she was doing her best to ignore him, I smirked slightly. She was like a sister to me so I was glad she was ignoring him. "Thea." I nodded at her. "Mind if we steal Theo for a second?" I asked. "Not at all." She smiled at me. She then turned to Theo, "Looks like it's time for you to annoy someone else." She smirked. "Later, Raeken." She added as she waved him off. He nodded before getting up and following Scott and I over to the locker room.

We walked in and I turned to him, "How'd this happen?" I asked him. "What do you mean?" He questioned. "How'd you get turned?" I quizzed. "Oh, I was skating in a neighbours empty pool, trying to do a handplant. Nobody was home. I'm not that good of a skateboarder, but I guess I was feeling pretty determined, because I completely lost track of time. I didn't even realise that it was night until the yard lights came on. Like I said, I wasn't very good. On my last try, I went down and hit hard – really hard. I was sitting there at the bottom of the pool, and I realised something... I never heard the board come back down. It came at me fast. I barely had a chance to turn around before it bit me, right here." He told us the story before showing us where he'd been bitten. I shared a look with Scott.

"It wasn't an accident – He wanted to turn you." Scott stated. "Right. So, why aren't you part of his pack, then? Why didn't he come back for you?" I questioned him. "Because by the time of my first full moon, he was dead." "How did you know that?" I asked. "I met another one of his pack a couple weeks later. He told me the alpha that bit me was killed by two of his own betas. They were twins." He swore. I stared at Scott disbelievingly. There was no way he was talking about Ethan and Aiden.

"Scott, listen to my pulse – I'm telling the truth." He said as he saw us sharing a look. "Right, or you just know how to steady your heart rate while you're lying your ass off." I shrugged. "Why would I lie?" "Because maybe, you're not who you say you are." I replied.

"Okay, in fourth grade, you had an inhaler. I had one, too. I remember this day where I ended up in the nurses office with an asthma attack – A bad one. I was waiting to be taken to the ER. You were waiting for the principal. You told me what would happen when you go to the ER for asthma. How they give you oxygen, an IV of prednisone. You made it sound easy, like everything would be okay. I've been by myself this whole time. Everybody knows lone wolves don't make it on their own. I swear, I'm that same kid from fourth grade. I was hoping you were too." He explained, trying to prove himself. The bell soon rang, signalling the ned of free period.

Theo picked up his bag, "I better not be late for class – You're not the only ones I need to make good impressions on." He said before leaving the locker room. I watched him go before turning to Scott, "No! Don't give me that look." I told him as I saw his face. "We have to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes." He replied. "Not this time, alright? There's something off about him, I can feel it." I groaned. Scott grabbed his bag and began to leave, "Lydia's the psychic, not you." He said. "She's not psychic, she's a banshee. There's a difference." I called after him as he walked away. I put my head down and chuckled slightly before groaning and heading towards my next class.

ALTHEA'S P.O.V.

I heard the bell ring and immediately began heading to my next class. I walked in to find Theo sitting at my table, I was currently in AP Biology. I groaned slightly before heading over and sitting down beside the guy I hated. "So, how come Stiles is allowed to call you Thea but I'm not?" He whispered to me as Mrs. Finch began talking. "Stiles is a friend, a good friend. You are not." I replied as Mrs. Finch asked Scott a question.

"Don't be like that." He began. "Right, I'm gonna put you into pairs, you're gonna have to work on this assignment outside of school as well as inside." She suddenly said. "I will be pairing you up, you will not be choosing your own partners." She added. "Your assignment is to work together and write a piece on the subject I give you. Each team will be given a different subject. The assignment is due in three weeks." She stated.

"Team one will be Scott and Lydia, your assignment will be evolution. Team two will be Kira and Sydney, your assignment will be ecology. Team three will be Angelina and Liam, your assignment will be anatomy and physiology. Team four will be Avery and Archie, your assignment will be cells and cellular reactions. Team five will be Chloe and David, your assignment will be molecular biology. Team six will be Althea and Theo, your assignment will be genetics, DNA and heredity." She said. I groaned before almost slamming my head down on the desk. Theo simply smiled at me, wearing his stupid signature smirk.

"Problem Miss Hamilton?" She asked as she stopped at my desk. 'You mean apart from the fact I have to meet up with my old school bully outside of school and actually work with him?' I thought but didn't say. "No, not at all." I replied. Lying through my teeth of course. Theo smiled at me as she walked away, "If you don't wipe that smile off your face, I'll do it for you." I told him before groaning and staring down at my textbook.

"So, when should we meet up?" He asked. "How about... Hmm... I don't know, the third of never?" I asked. "Althea, we have to work together on this, okay?" He sighed. "Why should I work with you on anything?" I asked. "Uh... Because it's a school project." He stated. "Well, stay out of my way." I told him with a raised eyebrow. "I can't do that. You do know I'm going to help you on this." He told me. This caused another groan to come from me, of course.
