Stiles Dad died when he was 4 and his mum died when he was 6, then he was taken into the foster apartment for young kids. He grew up with these kids so he's known them for 11 years. He's not really close to any of them but since they've grown up together they feel kind of like siblings, he only really talks to Alex and Kit but does have to talk to them all since they live together.
