nothing's the same

part 6- the morning after

as i started to open my eyes, i realised that i wasn't in my room. i could feel something heavy wrapped around my waist, i looked back and there he was miko. shit.
taking the covers off of me, i tried to unwrap miko's arm from around me.
💭what did we do last night?💭
???: come back i want cuddles.
i felt myself being pulled back my wrist.
y/n: bro i'm hungry and why should i. before this you hadn't even spoke to me all week.
miko: please i'll explain everything, just lay for 5 more minutes.
y/n: urgh fine.
grabbing the covers once again, i laid my head on miko's bare chest, as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
jacob: WAKE UP YOU LOVEBIRDS!
y/n: how did you know we were in here?
jacob: well i came in this morning because i knew milo slept around, then i found you in here as well. *winking*
miko: just leave jacob, we'll be down in a minute.
jacob: okay but your breakfast is ready so be quick.
i sat back up and tried to get out of miko's grip.
miko: where do you think you're going?
y/n: to eat i'm hungryyy - i whined.
i crossed my arms and pouted at miko, making him chuckle.
miko: come here.
before i knew it i was on miko's lap, and he had his arms snaked around my body.
y/n: now can we eat :)
miko: fine, but only because you're whining.
i jumped out of bed, and looked down when i realised i was in my bra and skirt.
miko: here put this on.
he handed my his hoodie, and as i put it on i could smell his cologne.
we walked down the stairs with miko's arm around my shoulder and my head on his chest. i had my hood up because i look like a messss.
holly: look who's finally down here.
levi: the coupleee.
damien: your food is cold now.
i giggled as i looked up at miko, he took my hand and led us to the breakfast bar.
felix: so did you guys get up to anything last night.
y/n: i honestly don't remember. the only thing i remember is jumping into a pool.
jacob: yeah you nearly died. buttt it was worth it because after that the party was actually fun. 
damien: yeah until you disappeared again hmmm.
everyone looked at miko as he was eating.
miko: what are you looking at? plus we weren't the only ones gone, max and holly were missing the whole time.
as he said that i looked over at holly who had a sad expression on her face. i wanted to ask her what was wrong but i thought it was better to ask when we were alone.
y/n: oh yeah, talking about max. where is he?
jacob: i dont know, he was here last night then got mad all of a sudden. after that no one saw him.
miko: do you know why he was mad?
i looked at felix and miko who were exchanging worried looks, but i still kept quiet because i knew it wasn't my business. or at least i didn't think it was...
y/n: well i think i'm gonna go home and get ready. i've got a free place like all week, so if you want we can all stay at mine tonight.
everyone: yeah i'm down.
y/n: okay cool. holly are you coming, or should i just meet you back at mine since all your stuff is there?
holly: i'll come i wouldn't want you to leave alone aha.
after saying our goodbyes to everyone, i grabbed my keys and me and holly made our way to the car. she wouldn't make eye contact and just kept her head down. i felt bad so i asked her
y/n: hey hols are you okay? you've been a bit off this morning.
holly: yeah it's nothing.
y/n: i know you're lying. if you want to speak about it i'm always here, and whatever it is i won't judge you.
as soon as i said that i felt holly fall into me. she had her head on my chest and i could feel her tears soak through the hoodie. i just hugged back tighter.
holly: i'm sorry y/n
y/n: no no it's fine. just tell me i promise it will make you feel better, it will get it off your mind.
holly: okay. well basically last night, me and max were having a really good time. it felt like he was actually starting to like me. then he said he was going to the bathroom, and when he came back he was angry. he was saying something like 'she was mine first', and then i realised that he didn't like me.
