I just got back from school. I decide to change in sweats before the girls come over. Mom got so excited when I told her that some girls were coming. So there I am, still in my bra and sliding my sweatpants on. I receive a text. It's from Kio.

The girls and I had such a good time. I don't understand why they're in Kio's group. They're so sweet. They were talking about how Josh treats Nessa like a princess and how Emma and Jaden have been flirting a little. This is exciting. It was my time to ask them questions about Kio.
"So has Kio always been a dick?" I ask with a curious but subtle tone.
"Hey he's my brother come on!" Emma says while laughing. She then continues: "No Kio was so sweet before. We were so close. I mean we still are but not in the same way. He was just really close to our dad. After he died, which was about 2 years ago, Kio changed completely. He couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep. He just couldn't do anything anymore. He finally started eating and sleeping again but started being disrespectful to girls and controlling everything. I told all our friends to respect Kio even when he's mean to us. It's just his way of getting over it. I'm sure he'll be back to normal in a few years." she finishes.
"I'm so sorry" I reply.
She just smiles at me and we continue talking. Both girls decide to wear things in my wardrobe for the party. I decide on wearing a cheetah print dress with a black turtleneck and my docs.
