Elizabeth is a 16 year old girl that just moved to LA. Little did she know her high school experience was gonna be one to remember when she meets Kio Cyr. The school's f-boy.

I has at home studying when Kio came in. I hadn't seen him since yesterday. Mom was so worried. That reminded me of when my parents adopted Kio. He was about 3 years old and ran away. The little boy had a hard time getting used to LA and his new family. Dad found him in the back of his pickup with a blanket, sleeping. It was great to have a brother the same age as me. We had so much fun as kids. Anyway he told me everything. Not gonna lie, this was a cute date. I didn't know Kio was so romantic.
"So you guys just fell asleep like that? You suuuureee nothing happened?" I say teasing him a little.
"I swear nothing happened. I would of liked it to though." he jokes.
I seriously can't tell if he was serious or not but i'll just roll with it.
"Imma go check on Eli okay?" I state as I stand up from the bed.
"And how you gonna do that" Kio replies.
"I have my ways. Just whatever you do don't follow me."
"Fine."
I leave the house equipped with a ladder. I walk to Eli's house and put the ladder in front of her window. I climb every step very quietly so her parents dont hear me. I knock.
"Omg heyyy Emma!" she cheerfully exclaims while opening the window.
"Hey Eli. I'm just here to check up on you."
...
"So how's your boyfriend?" I ask
"He's not my boyfriend you know that."
"Yet"
"I mean he's your brother you probably know."
"Yeah I do haha."
...
We spend the night having fun and end up falling asleep.

I get woken up by a text

i dated kio in the past and trust me all of his friends are liers. he's a lier. now u probably wont believe me but they want to embarass u. why do you think they were all friendly to you? you're the perfect target. New at the school, ignorant, sweet, pretty, innocent. Dont u think its weird how Kio changed so fast. And that bullshit of his dad being dead , don't get me started on that. here's a photo of him on a business trip a week ago.

And with that i close my phone. Kio is so sweet he would never do anything to hurt me. But I can't help thinking about it. What if that person was right? What if Kio is just using me?

I woke up. I slept so badly last night. I have a headache as well as a neck and leg cramp.
"Good morning Emma!"
"Good morning" she replies.
She glances at her phone.
"Oh shoot I really have to go. Byeee" Emma leave so fast that i don't have time to ask why.
Why was she so in a rush? That was weird. I have to check up on kio so I decide to call him.
"hello?"
"hi kio how are you?"
"oh hey"
"are u a little grumpy this morning?"
"no im fine"
I hear Emma coming back up and saying:
"Kio I came back asap. I'm tired of this can you just tell her or end things like you did with the other girls?
"Shhhhh. Um yeah El I have to go"
He hangs up. What was that about? End things with other girls? I have to let Kio explain before I jump to any conclusions. Is he cheating on me? I get really sad thinking about all this. I mean, it was too good to be true right? I don't know what to think. All I want to do is go talk to kio about it but I'm fucking grounded. Maybe i didn't hear well. What if she said end things with other curls? How does that make any sense though. I'm overthinking and probably overreacting. It's true life was easier in New York. My life over there was normal. Normal friends, normal parties, normal grades, normal house, normal everything. I liked it that way. Now that I have moved, why must everything be complicated. I'm not just saying that because of what just happened. It's just a completely different place where things aren't normal. Since I have nothing to do I might as well text that mystery girl to know a little more about her pov of kio, the gang, the school, everything.
