The whole morning was the most quiet

I knew my mother was upset,
but my dad,
he was angry.
He was one of those dads that kept it all
inside.
War inside him.
He wasn't one to share what he felt,
but his silence said it all.
I've always wondered what he saw on mom.
And what did she saw on him,
when they got married.
