I was shaking.
Can you believe that?
She said yes.
It feels that I've been struck by happiness;
A happiness that I hadn't felt for a while.
Isabelle and I visited Julie's ice cream shop
and we both ordered peppermint.
Peppermint is my favorite and it must of been hers too.
I loved the way she smiled,
And the way her eyes said everything without her saying a word.
She tried to hide her smile but it was impossible to miss.
At moments she seemed that she was feeling awkward about something,
I didn't know what, but something was bugging ger.
"Are you okay? You seem a little 'off the page' " I spoke the words silently and gently. And I couldn't agree anymore, I was sure she was distracted and bothered by something, and I was curious as to what could be bothering this little angel.
"I have to go... this was nice," She stood up from the table,
And it was happening so quickly that it felt like I had done something wrong.
So I followed her just five steps behind her,
I wanted her to tell me what was going on,
and I know,
I'm being too over attached.
I don't want to lose this little angel
She stopped just beside a corner of the shop where no one seemed to be around but me, and she didn't know I was right behind her until,
this little angel did the most unpleasant, sad, and unecessary thing.
She turned her stomach upside down.
