Narrator's Point of View because I can...
A few days had passed since Adrien had fallen into the frozen lake. He was recovering at the hospital.
Someone had seen the accident and immediately called an ambulance.
Marinette was sitting in the waiting room for hours, wanting to visit him. She still wasn't sure what was Adrien's condition.
Usually she avoids going to hospitals since there were ghosts all around her but she didn't notice them.
All she could think of was Adrien and how he had saved her life. She was blaming herself for what happened.
She remembers how she met Adrien for the first time when he stopped Chloé from harassing her. When she saw him at the library she regularly visited.
The feeling she was feeling, was different from her crush on Adrien. It might have been how badly she wanted Adrien to recover or the lack of feeling. Something bordering on numbness.
She even noticed that Adrien's father wasn't there. Only his assistant, Nathalie she thinks, visited to check on Adrien's condition.
She was waiting in the waiting room, when a nurse came over to Marinette.
"Adrien," Marinette piped up softly, "How is he?"
"I'm only authorized to give such information for family," the nurse said almost like saying a small unspoken apology.
Marinette nodded and continued to sit still and stare into a wall.
"What is going on?" She heard a familiar voice spoke out. She perked up when she thought she heard Adrien, but she saw nobody. Everybody was going on with there business.
"Where am I," the voice said once again and she recognized that voice.
She was anxious about who it could be but nonetheless, she looked up.
She saw him.
Her eyes went wide when she looked into the gorgeous emerald eyes of the one and only, Adrien Agreste. Who appeared to be a ghost.
