The very first kill of the undead that you witness is what starts your story. You don't even know that it is a person beyond death, but they have already been long gone since then. After experiencing the brink of life versus death, there is only what comes after.
The undead, the walkers roam around to charge towards what noise, light, or any living action they catch sense of. This is the reality that we find ourselves in. No escape. No hope for any alternatives.
This is what our lives have come to. It is about enduring and surviving the zombie apocalypse.
