It was Friday evening and Hermione was at Harry's cricket practice, but her mind wasn't in her crush looking hot in the hot sun, for once, it was on a small electronic gadget in her hand, her phone.
A few days ago, her mom and her had a conversation concerning her cell phone. Unlike other mother's telling their children to stop using their phones, Maria was urging Hermione to use it, she said that if she didn't use it much, the phone number may be disabled, or something like that.
Hermione promised that she'd use it just to make her mom feel ok, however, she had no intention of doing that. Unfortunately, her mother knew she wouldn't so it, so she ordered Hermione to take out a selfie in order to prove that she was using the phone.
Hermione thought it was going to be something easy to do, and planned on doing it when she was at Harry's practice, which was now, but, Cho was here, well on a nearby stand, along with a few other bullies, to watch their new boyfriends play. Hermione didn't want to do it because she was shy, but it was now or never because her mom told her to send the picture before 5:30 and now was 5:25.
She was so caught up in considering the pros and cons in her mind that she hadn't noticed her crush was shaking the life out of her.
"Hermione!?" He said, worriedly.
She snapped out if her thoughts and looked at the stomach twisting sight if Harry Potter, "Oh hi," she said.
"Hermione are you ok, I've been calling your name for minutes," he said.
"It's just..." She explained her dilemma to Harry. He looked at her a bit amused.
"So you think that when you take out the selfie that they would think that you think you're pretty?" Harry asked.
"Exactly!" She flung up her hands.
"But you are pretty, Hermione," he reasoned with her.
"Thanks," she replied.
"So what are you going to do?" He asked.
"I don't know," she replied.
"Ok, I know what to do," Harry said, he took her phone and opened the camera app and sat next to her, "Smile!" He said.
Hermione sighed and smiled a little, "Oh, c'mon Hermione, you have brighter smile than that," he said, he then sighed, "You made me have to do this," he began tickling her and when she was in between a laugh, he snapped a picture, with him and her. She then stopped laughing and did a nice big grin," That's better!" Harry said and took out a next selfie. She wrapped her hands around his neck(from behind, because he was sitting on a step below her) and kissed his cheek, while he took out another picture, "Cute," he said. She then stayed in the same position and they stick out their tongues to the camera and he took out a next picture.
He handed her the phone back and stood up "I have to go finish up practice, send it to your mom quick and remember you are a pretty girl, heck, you're beautiful!" He exclaimed.
She blushed and stood up as well and kissed his cheek, "Good luck and thank you!" She said.
...
Hermione's mother was satisfied with the picture and allowed her to keep the phone. So Hermione laid in bed that night, with Harry's watch and jacket on, which he told her to keep, over her night gown, and her phone. She laid on her side and opened Gallery and ran through the pictures she had with Harry, she stopped at the one when she kissed Harry and placed a heart on the end of the picture, where it won't disturb the beauty of the picture. She then went to the menu settings and the phone asked, "Set as wallpaper?"
