The Better Ending
"Don't worry Mr Joon. It's perfectly normal for her to be reacting this way. She's okay." The doctor speaks with assurance. "Let me check her radiator and hopefully try to make her heartbeat leveled," he smiles and listens to how fast the heart monitor radiates. Karoo was definately awake and listening. "She's not dying. Don't worry about it."
"Thank you doctor," Namjoon smiles following the nurse out the door. He felt reassured. He knew he could trust the doctor. The doctor had never given him any reason to doubt his work. Truly, Taehyung was correct. This was the best doctor, preferably to the whole world.
The doctor turns back to the anxious, confused and worried Karoo who's laying flat on the bed, once the door shuts. He tugs his lip up a little and moves closer to the bed. He powers off the heart monitor leaving the room dead silent, with only her heavy breaths.
"Before I introduce myself," he starts speaking. Karoo can smell him close by, feeling him fiddling with the bed's settings. "I want to make sure you're comfortable,"
The bed's head board gently and slowly moves forward, causing Karoo's head to move up as well.
"Better?"
She nods her head saying nothing. She liked his voice. But she didn't know how anything was possible right now. It was especially horrible since she couldn't confirm it now. She was back to being not able to see, back to her sorrow, her darkness of sorrow. Back to being blind. Everything that happened she couldn't be sure of how her eyesight worsened. How could it be?
"Perfect," he smiles fully aware of her condition. "My name is Dr Jeon Jungkook and I'm the doctor responsible for delivering all medical examinations on you to ensure the balance of your well-being, physically, mentally and psychological. Or in short, I'm the man who saved your life,"
Karoo smiles a little at the news but slowly realises the heartbreaking truth. If she had to count, how many times had this happened to her? How many times did she loose her JK? What really happened?
"That's good," he speaks. "I see a smile going on," he smiles as well.
She says nothing as he goes along through the checkup papers on his clipboard. She's quiet the whole time, nodding or shaking her head to answer to the questions he asked. It wasn't until he left and told her to get a little more rest before he could do more, that she broke down silently and cried. He was gone and she felt her heartbreaking.
"It was all a dream."

Jungkook closes the door behind him and takes in a deep breath letting out a smile. She was awake. Not only did he feel the excitement of her life being back online or that she was a patient, but also because it meant that he had a chance. She didn't seem happy though and he was determined to make sure she was okay to make everything better.
He walks into Namjoon's room and explains the news to him. The news that she was slowly getting used to the sudden surrounding.

Everyday sitting down on the dull chair asking Karoo questions and not getting any response except her classic head movements, started slowly bothering Jungkook. He wanted her to talk to him and say at least, something. She hadn't spoken a word to her dad nor himself, not even the nurses or even psychiatrist and that really concerned Jungkook. He arrived everyday to her room and did his usual check up until he couldn't take the silence anymore.
