As promised JK took her out to the stream where they had a little picnic. He was really sweet, caring and helped her every step and was more open with her. Even right now as he drives her back home he speaks natural and describes everything around.
He parks the car by the compound and opens his door rounding the car to go to her side. He holds it open for her while helping her out. He takes the stick in the backseat giving it to her.
Namjoon and Hoseok stop crushing the little grapes with their hands as their heads shift to the big range rover that's parked by their compound. Hoseok seems immediately impressed. "Damn. Karoo hit the jackpot and she can't even see it,"
Namjoon on the other hand scrutinise the man, JK. His whole attire screamed out rich and powerful even though he wore simple black jeans with a bright white shirt with short sleeves. His skin was gleaming under the sunlight and his hair was styled. Namjoon took this as the moment to finally talk to the boy who's been availing himself to his daughter.
"Hoseok carry on," Namjoon orders seeing how Hoseok had stood up to admire the view of the car with a whistle. "I'll just be a second,"
"You mean an hour," Hoseok mumbles watching Namjoon wash his hands and walks away with his black t-shirt and brown shorts. The heat was truly nobodys friend as it showed no mercy.
"Karoo," Namjoon calls. Karoo explained to JK that her father wanted to meet him, at first it frightened him but he was down with it when realising his intensions with Karoo weren't bad. Karoo walks ahead of him.
"Afternoon Daddy,"
"Afternoon," Namjoon's says walking towards the bench. "You may go in Karoo,"
"Afternoon sir," JK says already feeling intimidated by Namjoon's stare.
Namjoon nods his head moving to the bench. "You're welcome. Take a seat," he offers a place for JK to sit first before he does.
The boys had gotten a new ball that actually bounced and looked brighter. Seeing the beaming faces of the children made JK feel happy.
Karoo walks back to the house sitting outside on the step, she didn't want to go inside because it was too hot and also because she wanted to know what her father was saying.
"You look," Namjoon starts while looking at JK up and down. He decides on right words trying not to scamper the man away. "Wealthy and influential. Karoo is blind and innocent," Namjoon turns to the JK. "And I'm not against you helping her, but if I may ask. What interest do you have with her?"
"Well sir," Jk clears his throat as it was clogged. "I'm not an influential person and I'm actually an orphan,"
This draws Namjoon's attention and he looks to JK finding the story interesting. "I've never seen my parents," JK sighs not knowing if he is already setting a good impression by mentioning that. "All that I am today, is because of a friend that I have in the crowd. My father used to work for his parents and since he worked with humility and decency it created a good path way for me. Coming back to my interest in Karoo... it's not because of pity or things like that. I came from a poor background.. I know what poverty is about..and I'm just trying to help as best as I can,"
Both Jimin and Karoo on the steps and Hoseok on the other side listen attentively and nod their heads in understanding.
"I really wanna help her out. I wanna give her..a world of happiness," JK says with a smile. "That's my soul interest,"
Namjoon analysing his face seeing no trace of lies he nods his head. "Okay so what do you do?"
"I'm a construction manager sir,"
