2 weeks later...

Karoo sits outside by the tree with nothing on her mind. It hurt even to think or speak. Every time she opened her mouth all that came out where sounds of her cry. She'd been crying ever since the day her father died. The feeling of that thick blood on her hands was her father's blood- she couldn't believe it that he had died so soon. When all he did was try to stop Agust from killing her.

She remembered when the doctor announced that he was dead. At that moment she ran mindlessly bumping into a few people and walls. She thought it was all a dream, that sooner or later she would wake up. But when a a hard hand gripped on her arm and pulled her back to a chest. She knew that it was JK comforting her and that everything was real. Whatever happened afterwards was a blur, her head hurt from too much crying and apparently she blacked out.

The sound of the door opens and Karoo snaps out of her blankness. "Who's there?"

"Oh- Hey Karoo," Hoseok says finally seeing Karoo by the tree. He drops the groceries on the chair Namjoon used to sit on before quickly going to her. He hugs her and plants himself on the floor next to her. "I just brought some food- what happened to your finger? Did you cut yourself?"

Karoo shakes her head already remembering how alone she's been. "Hoseok where have you and Jimin been that you left me all alone in the house?"

Since Namjoon passed, three days later Hoseok and Jimin where gone. It was scary at first realising that there was no one in the house. She thought that they'd left and would be back soon, but they never came back and she was hungry. While crying herself to sleep that night in the kitchen she got up and realised that crying wouldn't make her full or fill her stomach. So she worked knowing that she only had herself.

With the little in the house, she managed but knowing that she'd soon run out really troubled her. The darkness she saw in her eyes felt like the whole universe had switched off.

Hoseok looks down sadly holding her hand. "I'm sorry. You know your dad sold the wine we made here in order to get an income but since he...died..he died along with the special ingredients. The wine collectors refused for me to work alone. So I went to the city to look for a modest job that paid well and yeah.. I'll be working there and bringing things here from time to time. Jimin..well school started again and he had to go back home because his mum said so.. I'm really sorry Karoo- I honestly thought Jimin would've at least came back to explain. Then again we shouldn't have just left you all alone- wait what about that JK man with the car? What's happened to him?"

"Business travelling." She simply says not knowing what else so say. She was all alone and felt how dark and cold her world was without anybody.

The warmth and touch of JK she yearned for so much was gone. The moment she needed him the most was the moment his work caught up with him for all the times he chose to leave it so that he could spend time with her. The deadlines were closing in and it called for stress mode and dedication in work. On top of that he had to travel to Japan to negotiate some plans for manufacturing.

"I'm sorry," Hoseok says and she lays her head on his shoulder. "I'll come back to the house and look for work this side-"

"No it's okay. I bet it was already hard getting the job in the first place.. especially since it's the city.. I'll manage on my own."

Hoseok is shocked. "You sure?"

"Yeah. I literally have been alone here and haven't killed myself," Karoo says in an attempt of a joke. She didn't want to be in a sad mood again. She left all her crying in the past.

"Except your finger,"

"Damn those onions," Karoo says making Hoseok burst in laughter. "So tell me. How was the city?" She smiles already having missed his booming laugh that was always contagious no matter what.
