Max walked up to Jane's doorstep,and knocked. Jane answered the door, "How do you do,M'lady?" Max asked. "Um. Fine,I guess." "I do believe this is our schedule for today." Max said as she handed Jane a piece of paper.
8:00 A.M: Breakfast at iHop
10:00 A.M: The Goonies in the theatre
12:00 P.M: Lunch
1:30 P.M: Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream
2:00 P.M: SHOPPING!
Jane smiled at Max, "Aww. Thanks." she said as they walked toward the mall, (which had an iHop in it).
Max ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream,waffles with fruit,and eggs (which she put syrup on). Jane coffee,pancakes with syrup, and hash browns (which she put ketchup on).
"TIME TO GO SEE THE MOVIE!!" Max yelled,she grabbed Jane's hand and ran out the door after paying. "What's the movie about?" "These kids who go on an adventure to find a pirates missing treasure." Max replied. Jane smiled,she didn't really care what the movie was about,as long as she got to see it with Max.
(Time skip to after the movie)
"My favorite character was Mouth." Max said. "Why?" "He was hilarious." "No he wasn't. Literally nothing he said was funny." "What about,when he was talking to Rosalita?" "That was funny. But it was the only funny thing he did the whole movie." Max put her hand on her chest,and looked at Jane shocked and offended. "Alright then. Who was your favorite character?" Max asked, "I liked Sloth." Jane replied. Max laughed at this "HEY YOU GUUYS!" Max yelled in an impersonation of Sloth. Jane burst out in laughter, "You sounded nothing like him." Max rolled her eyes and grabbed Jane's hand and lead her to the diner.
(A/N: If you haven't seen the Goonies,that part was probably confusing for you. You should also watch it,it's an amazing movie.)
(Time skip to when they're done with everything on their schedule)
As they walked to Jane's house,Max began to wonder something. "Where are you moving?" She asked, "Someplace called 'Derry Maine',it sounds stupid." "It's not stupid. It's Kiki." "What's Kiki?" Jane asked curiously. "Well,the Japanese use the same word for crisis and opportunity. And that word is Kiki." "So,you're saying I shouldn't look at this as a bad thing,I should look at it as an opportunity?" Jane asked,and Max nodded as she grabbed Jane's hand.
And to think,this was only day one out of the Severn they'd be spending together.
