“KIM-JONG-HYUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Jinki exploded.

He didn’t know what to do. He just found his self, dialing Jonghyun’s number. “The person you are trying to reach is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.” Of course he would do that. He thought

He re-read the messages plotted by the one and only Dino head and tried to comply with the time and settings.  Two hours, he has two hours to get prepared. It was totally out of his plan plus he hasn’t eaten dinner yet. What was the time? 8PM. Perfect. They’ll meet before the pastry shop closes.

It was hard for him to admit but Jonghyun just planned things out perfectly. To be honest, he didn’t hate the fact that he had to meet her in a rush. What he hates is that Jonghyun invaded his privacy once again. But his anger subsided with his thoughts of meeting Mari.

His mind was filled of her. What should he do for her? What should he prepare for her?

Although he had a relationship in the past, he wasn’t able to do so much for his girl that time. He had schedules and their relationship was a rather big flop.

When you received the message from Jinki saying you should meet, you became utterly speechless and surprised. He wanted to meet you, and he’s coming in two hours. With that, you panicked.

You were totally out of your mind and didn’t know what to do. You pulled out your hand bag then your make up pallet. You looked at the mirror and you were so disappointed on how haggard you looked. Your hair was in a messy bun and your face looked so tired. And making yourself pretty wasn’t just your specialty.

You shook your head in disapproval of your current state. You’re worthless, you thought.

Just then, a hope suddenly came to you when you heard her speak up. “Unnie?” she said

It was Joohyun, your assistant in the shop. She’s an 18 year-old girl who is knowledgeable in this sort of stuffs since she herself is pretty. “JOOHYUN-AH!” you shouted desperately which startled her, by the way.

“Help me.” You cried pleadingly. “Anything unnie!” she said willingly. “Make unnie pretty. Please.” You battered your eyelashes while you unleash aegyo. “You have a date?” you shook your head while you blush. “No, it’s not a date. He just wanted to meet.” You said in a really REALLY shy way which surprised Joohyun because you weren’t that much of a shy person.

“So.. it’s a HE.” Joohyun teased. “Then let’s make you REAL pretty.” She smiled.

She pulled out your bun and re-do it. “Why is your make up pallet so boring?” she scoffed while bringing out hers. “These are girls’ bestfriend! Invest on it sometimes, unnie!” she scolded. How could someone 5 years younger than you scold you? Aish. You thought. But your irritation suddenly changed into a smile with these thoughts; but she’s like a real sister to me right now.

Jinki finally finished everything he needs to do.

Flowers check. New clothes check. Chicken from his shop for dinner check. –there’s nothing else he could get because he was already in a hurry—the only thing he needs to do now is step out of the car and go inside the pastry shop. But before he did, he inhaled and exhaled first and said ‘Fighting!’

He picked up the flowers and went out. ‘Did I buy the flowers too early? It’s slightly withered.’ ‘Did I put too much perfume?’ ‘Do I look decent’ these bothered him to death but shrugged it off since there’s nothing he could do with it anyway.

He opened the door and found Joohyun cleaning. “I’m sorry we’re alre-“ her words were cut when she saw him holding up a bouquet of flowers –and a bucket of chicken- “Unnie he’s here!” she immediately shouted and went to the kitchen.

She found Mari fidgeting and feeling nervous. You don’t know why you felt that way but you just did. “Come on, you don’t want him to wait up, do you?” Joohyun pushed you out of the kitchen door only to find Jinki with a bouquet in his hand.

And when you saw him, it occurred to you; butterflies in the stomach.

Your cheeks heated up. You just looked at each other, waiting to speak up. He was completely stunned at you and you couldn't stop your face from blushing. Just then, Joohyun cleared her throat and said “I’m leaving for today Unnie.” And passed Mari. She locked eyes with Jinki and whispered “fighting “before finally leaving.

Jinki then finally had the courage to hand her the bouquet and said “You look beautiful.” Which made their pink tinted cheeks turn redder. “Ah those are for uhm..” Jinki immediately explained while pointing on the flowers. “You know, welcome and thank you gift.” he stuttered. “Yeah. For that uhm..” he wanted to add more to break the awkwardness.

“I get it. I get it.” Mari just smiled. Although it disappointed you a bit, you knew you shouldn’t be affected because you two are clearly nothing. “Take a seat.” You offered. He nodded and took his seat. “Ah by the way!” he shouted quite loud clearly stating that he’s nervous. He then pulled a hand on his mouth because of embarrassment. You chuckled a bit.

“If you’re going to ask me if I had dinner, I haven’t yet.” You stated while pointing on the plastic bag he’s holding. “Wait for me, I’ll just put this in a vase and then eat.” You walked away from the table and set up the flower on a vase. ‘they’re pretty.’ You smiled with these thoughts on your mind.

You shuffled back on the table and found him awkwardly sitting at the chair where you left him off. Not moving at all.

“You could move, you know.” You sarcastically informed him. He pulled his hands away from his knees and placed it at the table. Yeah, he moved. You could just laugh at his obstinate movements.

“So, what brought you here?” you asked while setting up the table for the two of you. It caught him off guard, he never thought of a reason. He totally can’t say that it was Jonghyun’s idea because she might misunderstand it and think he was forced or something just like Jjong said. He can’t say it’s because he wants to see her, he’s too shy for that.

He didn’t say anything. He couldn’t say anything.
