chapter 5

Once I walked in I made sure to flick on the lights before I head to the back with the girls to put our bags in the brake room putting the bento in the fridge before I go to the closet across the room to grab the broom and other cleaning supplies.
After I grabbed the things I needed from the closet I head back to the front to clean up before I have to open for the day. Once I was done sweeping and wiping of the desks, chairs and everything else I set the girls up on the coutch in the back with cartoons on to keep them slightly entertained as I flip the sign to open and grab out the inks, design books and tattoo guns out and on stand by as I sit down and look through my phone waiting for costumers to come in.

It didn't take long for the bell above the door to chimed signaling that someone had just walked in. I look up and am suddenly hit with shock when I see who's here it was my best friends parker and Katie I haven't seen them for a few weeks give the fact we've been so busy lately.
Katie gives me a wave and a smile as she sits down on one of the waiting chairs as parker strolls up to my desk with a lopsided grin "hey sup man how have you been." He asks hold out his hand for a handshake and hug which I gladly accept with a grin of my own and a light laugh. "I'm good it's been a while tho hasn't it I'm actually waiting for some costumers to get hear in like three maybe four hours. What are you two up to today it's a bit rare to see you around the tattoo shop what's up ?"
I ask in slight confusion normally when we're not all stressed out from school we would text or call to see what's up with each other.

Parker looks over at Katie who nods in encouragement which kinda confuses me more but whatever once he sees Katie giving him an encouragemeneal nod he looks back at me before speaking again. "We were walking the neighborhood and we figured we'd stop by and see ya. We got a little nervous when we didn't see your motorcycle out front we thought you weren't in yet so we were going to talk to your uncle and figure out your
Schedule but I guess we got lucky huh." He tells me with a small laugh.
"Ya I couldn't ride in today I had to bring the twins they were feel left behind. I have been so busy with finals and work that I unknowingly left them behind while I was stressing over everything else. so I agreed to let them come to work with me so I could take them across the street to the park after work your welcome to come with the girls are in the back watching cartoons if you want to say hi." I said point to the cracked open brake room door katie nods standing up to go sit with the twins while me and parker talk.

"Now that I think about what did you guys need me for parker?" I ask remember parker say they wanted to see me earlier. " ok so here's the thing me and Katie, you know how we just turned twenty right?" I nod letting him continue " well we were wondering if you wanted to do our first tattoos for us." I'm completely shocked by this " oh holy shit are you serious your not fucking with me are you?" I exclaim in excitement as I stare at him in shock. "We're not messing with you we're completely serious we know how much you love art and we trust you that's why we came to you about this!" Katie shouts from the back.

"Hell ya I'll do it I just need you guys to fill out some papers you know the drill I talk about it all the time this is so awesome thank you guys for letting me do this. I just need to know when you want them done so we need to make an appointment for you both ,what style of art you want tribal, traditional, watercolor ect. Where you want them placed and how big you know the basics." I ramble in pure excitement as I get a packet out for them to look over and sign  while they just laugh like they just seen a puppy trip over it's own tail. "Wo calm do bro chill out a bit and breath ya we know all about the basics you wouldn't shut up about it when your uncle was teaching you about all of it last year." Parker laughs at my over excitment while I here Katie in the back giggling up a storm with the twins. " ya we'll take you up on that offer to go to the park later shoot us a text when you let off o we can meet up. Me and parker have to go shopping for our apartment were low on food and laundry detergent so we should be heading out love ya ashes." Katie states walking from the brake room towards parker. Once she reaches him the wind their hands around each other's before giving me a smile and wave as they left.
