"Return to Korea and I'll break your legs."

She said with a dark expression.
"That way you can never return at all."

The blaring sound of her alarm clock is what woke Eunseo up from her 'nightmare'.

She hit her alarm clock and sat upright, with her hand rubbing her forehead as beads of sweat trickled down.

"Break my legs huh..." she scoffed. "I wonder how she's doing..."

Eunseo sluggishly got up, changed into appropriate wear for school, picked up her bag and headed towards Stephaine's room.

She stopped in front of her room and pressed her ear on the wooden door, it was cold from the morning frost.

The snoring indicated that Stephaine was still fast asleep.

Good.

Eunseo glanced over at the clock in the living room.

6:45 am.

She still had 2 more hours until school started.

Perfect.

Eunseo slung her bag over her shoulder and headed out the door, she needed some time for herself, to cool down and get things off her mind.

This day wasn't her best day. Clearly.

First off- she had a bad dream. Followed by being scratched by the same neighbourhood cat which woke her up every morning, and now she forgot her english essay.

"Great." She muttered, kicking stones and other debris which was lying in her way.

Could it possibly get any worse?

Probably.

Time check- 7:58am.

She stopped by the nearest cafe and sat on the chairs, resting her head on her arms and closed her eyes.

She let the morning sun rays strike her face as it sent warmth throughout her shivering body.

"Good morning, Sleepy head."

Eunseo's ears perked as she heard that voice. It was familiar.

She shot right up, his face was only inches away from hers.

It was the same guy from yesterday!

His hair was damp, the sweet aroma of shampoo wafted in the air. His eyes appeared tired but regardless, he looked... good.

The two exchanged awkward eye contact.

"So we meet again." He smiled, shoving his hands in his coat pockets.

Eunseo simply gave a short nod, sheepishly smiling.

"So..." He sat on the seat infront of her, shivering from the cold. "Why are you out this early?"

"To go to school?" She shrugged akwardly. It was half true.

He sat there slowly nodding.

"How about you?" Eunseo started off, fidgeting with her coat buttons. She didn't know what to do or say.

"Same." He smiled.

Eunseo smiled back unknowingly.

"How come I didn't see you at school?"

He thought for a moment on how to phrase it.

"I'm actually from Korea, visiting my brother- For a week."

He gave an awkward smile.

Eunseo was slightly taken back.

"No wonder," she sniffed, "your skin was so pale I thought you where sick."

He gave a chuckle then let out a short cough.

Eunseo checked her phone for the time.

8:15am. Time for school.

She slowly got up and brushed the dirt from her rear.

"Well- time to go."

The latter simply stared at the table then opened his mouth and quickly shut it again as if he was hesitating to say something.

"H-Hey..." He reluctantly stuttered. "It's my first time going to the school here and I kinda don't know the way... Well, like um... I was just lost and you happen to be here so yeah.."

"So, you want me to show you the way?" Eunseo questioned.

"If it doesn't kill you." He answered pouting.

"Where's your school?"

"Oxford Aca-"

Eunseo was thrown in a loop.

"O-Oxford?"

"Oxford. Why?" He stared at her with confusion.

"I-I go to that school so I s-suppose you can consider it l-lucky."

The guy shoved his hands in his pocket and beamed.

"Well, guide the way sleepyhead."

Eunseo tried her best to remain nonchalant, but every once in a while she would have a sheepish grin plastered on her flurished face.

The atmosphere between the two was awkward. They barely talked to each other apart from times when one of them would sneeze and then the other would say-
"Bless you." Followed by a "thanks".

"Hey-" The latter glanced over, "Come to think of it, I don't know your name."

Eunseo looked up, trying to recall a time they exchanged names.

"Now that I think about it, you're right. We've only met once..."

"...and for a brief moment too." He finished off.

Eunseo stopped at the entrance of the school gates and smiled at him.

"We're here."

He stared at the towering buildings and students rushing all over the academy grounds.

Without a word he walked in and headed for the office.

Eunseo stood there, dumbfounded.

"Did saying a simple 'thank you' hurt?!"

The boy stopped in his tracks and turned around, grinning.

"I'M TAEHYUNG- I OWE YOU ONE!" He turned back around and ran into the office.

Eunseo didn't say anything.

"Taehyung..?"
