"I can't believe you seriously brought him a bento!! Like, you could've brought me one but you decided to bring one for him?" Tachi cries to you as you guys are heading to the cafeteria.

"Ahhh, I'm sorry Kira-chan. I didn't know you wanted me to make one for you too. I'll also start making you one then!" You smile at your best friend who gives you a frown.

"Don't do it. You're now a manager and you have other things to do; so, I don't want to put more on your plate," Your best friend sighs and shakes her head. Once you guys get to the cafeteria, you see your lover boy sitting with his teammates like usual. You happily skip towards them as everyone is whispering.

"Hey guys!" You greet them happily as they greet you back.

"Kenjiro-kunnnn," You sing as he looks up from his homework, "I made lunch for you today, if you don't mind." You set the bento in front of him as he slightly blushes and stares at it in shock.

"You're already calling him by his first name?" Tendo teases.

"Of course, Tendo Senpai! He has such a cute name, it would be sad if I didn't use it," You say and smile at the emotionless boy who sighs.

"I don't eat lunch, L/n-san," he calmly responds.

"Well, you should! That's not healthy! You should put your assignments aside and eat!" You say and try to push his papers aside but he stops you and gives you a glare.

"Please leave me alone." He was now irritated but tries to speak as calmly as he can. Whenever it comes to his assignments and someone tries to interrupt him, he can't help but get mad. It was really important for him to be on top of the class. You frown and pout at the tone of his voice. He hadn't talked to you like that before.

"Wow... Shirabu-san is mean."

"She was just being nice and that's how he treats her?"

People started to whisper. Shirabu blushes in embarrassment at their comments and sighs.

"I'll eat it later; please just leave me alone," Shirabu finally says then focuses back on his assignment.

'Don't be discouraged!' You repeat to yourself in your head and sadly sigh.

"Okay then, Kenjiro-kun. Bye guys! I'll see you later at practice," You give a tiny smile and wave at the boys who give you smiles to try to lift up the mood.

"Don't be sad, senpai! Shirabu senpai can just be a grumpy person when he's doing homework," Goshiki whispers to you.

"I'm not, Tsutomu-kun. Thank you though! Bye bye!" You walk away trying to keep your head up high.

"He's literally so rude," Tachi says while chewing on her food as you silently eat next to her.

You sigh, "I won't give up, but tomorrow I need to go to the library to do my chemistry homework again. I'll have to skip lunch."

"Seriously? Do you want me to go to the library with you?"

You shake your head, "No, it's okay. You make sure you eat, okay?" Tachi just nods understandingly.

At practice, it was once again awkward between you and Shirabu.

"Here's your water bottle, Kenjiro-kun," you say lowly as he awkwardly accepts it.

"Thanks," he mumbles then walks away towards Kawanishi and Goshiki.

"You're weird... You're quieter than usual... Usually you'd be yelling at us," Kawanishi says to the shorter boy who gives him a frown.

"Do you feel bad for getting mad at F/n senpai?" Goshiki asks which catches both of the boy's attention.

"You're already calling her by her given name?" Kawanishi asks, shocked. Goshiki nods.

"She told me I can call her that."

"Maybe I should call her by her name too!" Kawanishi says which makes Shirabu frown.

"Well, to answer your question... I guess I feel a little bad," Shirabu rubs his neck.

"Then apologize to her!"

"Yeah! You didn't even thank her for the bento," Goshiki lectures his senpai.

"Don't lecture me, Goshiki!" 

Once everyone is dismissed, you are still cleaning up since you have to lock up again. When everyone is out of sight, you take a ball from the basket and start bouncing it around. A vision of Shirabu serving pops in your mind and you smile.

"I want to try!" You say and stand behind the court line. You throw the ball up and attempt to hit it with confidence but terribly miss.

Not too far away, you hear a, 'pft'. Turning to see where the noise came from, you see Semi trying to hold in his laugh.

You blush.

"I-it's not nice to laugh, Senpai!!"

"Sorry!" He continues to laugh, "That was just a huge fail!" He's now resting his left hand on his knee while his right hand is over his mouth to cover his mouth from laughing. He then stops and walks up to you.

"What are you doing here still?" you ask him.

"I had to grab my water bottle... Let me teach you," he says and grabs a ball from the basket.

In the locker room, Shirabu looks in his bag and sees that he doesn't have his jacket.

'I must've left it in the gym... Well, I guess that means I should also talk to L/n,' he thinks to himself and starts walking to the gym. When he gets there, he sees you and Semi.

Suddenly, Semi goes behind you and holds your arms.

You blush at the sudden contact.

"W-what are you doing?"

"I'm trying to put you in the right position so you don't do an epic fail again," he chuckles and adjusts your body and arms.

'She's with Semi-san?' Shirabu frowns, for some reason becoming really annoyed. After a while of showing you, Semi lets go.

"Now you try," he hands you the ball. You frown but then sigh in determination. You get into your position, throw the ball lightly and hit it. The volleyball successfully, but barely, goes over the next.

Excited, you jump and pump your fists in the air.

"I did it, Semi senpai!" you cheer and bounce up and down as he chuckles.

"You barely got it over and don't call me that!"

You pout, "Well, it was my first time so that doesn't matter, Semi senpai!" Shirabu rolls his eyes at the scene then tip toes to grab his jacket that is in the corner. When he's doing so, he accidentally kicks a water bottle that is on the floor which catches the attention from the other two. 

"O-oh, Kenjiro-kun," you call out in shock. Shirabu just picks up his jacket and turns to look at you with his usual cold expression.

"Didn't I tell you to call me Shirabu?"

You frown but take a deep breath.

"C-can I walk with you to your dorm, Kenjiro-kun?"

He stares at you in shock but then rolls his eyes, "No, I don't want you to bother me," He says then starts to walk out of the gym.

Once he's gone, you sigh sadly. Semi stares at you and hesitantly pats your head which catches you attention.

"Don't be too sad... He's probably just in a bad mood," Semi tries to comfort you.

Thankful for the comfort, you give a small smile.

"Thanks Semi senpai."

"I just said don't call me that."

"Hehe, I don't care!"
