A story on Pandavas and Panchali

Bheem's birthday...

The moon was shining brightly kissing the land of Indraprastha with its silver arms. The palace of grandeur embedded with gems and precious stones , magnificent as that of Indra Deva's heaven sparkled in the moon light. Stillness prevailed as the golden rays of sun had not entered yet. What a peaceful scenery to behold.

But inside the palace there was only one person sleeping peacefully while the others preparing to surprise this man -- none other but our our own Bheem.

As planned the four Pandava brothers were in the kitchen cooking for their dear Vrikodar.

One could find Arjun and Yudhisthir working with utmost sincerity while Nakul and Sahadev feeling sleepy while cooking.

Yagyaseni was wearing a pink saree with just earrings and bangles and no other jewellery. Her skin sparkled under the moon which extended its arms of light through the palace window. She was angelic.

Those warriors lion among men well equipped with all weapons found it difficult to hold a spoon.

"Only Bhratha Bheem knows to cook well.let me call him Panchali"blabbered Nakul. sleep took over his senses.and he was sleeping near a pillar.

Draupadi sprinkled water on him."who is that.. hey who are you ... How dare you..."shouted Nakul.
But stopped as soon as he saw his Queen in front of him.
"oh sorry draupadi. I am feeling sleepy..."Said the son of Madri to her who was looking at him with an annoyed expression while the other Pandavas had a hearty laughter. He returned to work.

Arjun had thrown a banana peel and so Nakul slipped and fell on Sahadev who was holding a container full of flour and this fell on poor Nakul.

Soon Panchali rushed to help him but slipped and was about to fall. But will Savyasachi leave her to fall. He caught hold of her waist looking directly into her eyes. How much soothing were these eyes for him. Neither one of them moved.

Then Yudhisthir went to help Sahadev and Nakul.
But Nakul shouted with fake tears "oh my god!!"
Again with a heavier voice" I don't know what is happening in this world..oh no I am dying here and this man is romancing" .Both came back from their dream to reality after hearing these words.

Arjun gave a hand to Nakul. He said "oh sorry Nakula unknowingly I threw the peel I am sorry" .

"It's ok Bhratha.But it gave you a chance to become a hero right". He pressed the word hero and looked at Panchali who bent her head to veil her emotions.

Sahadev now spoke "Nakul enough let's get back to work" much to the relief of both Arjun and Agnija.

With Pandavas completing this work they rushed back to make sure that the other arrangements were ready.

And this was when a soldier came to inform that Madhav had arrived.

Pandavas were very happy and rushed to the gate.

A scene to behold. The lord of the universe ,Devakinand got down of the chariot with his astalakshmis.

The man with peacock feather in his crown came and greeted and hugged his cousins. While Draupadi hugged her sisters and welcomed them.

The rays of sun started to enter inside through the four corners of the world. Soon everyone reached the doors of Bheem's chamber's.

Bheem who was super excited had already woke up and had actually got ready as he know that his dearest brothers would not let him down on his birthday.

He opened the door expecting his brothers to stand out but found none. He in a way was caught by agony and his face shrinked.

And this was the time when the four brothers jumped towards Bheem wishing him. He exulted with joy. He seeked blessings from Yudhisthir and hugged his younger ones with a crashing hug. The three nearly suffocated under those strong arms.

"Bhratha you are actually torturing me in the name of showering love " said sahadev. Bheem beat him and then kissed him. Their love for each other was something more than anything.

Draupadi who was watching their actions now wished him. He thanked her.

This was when Arjun announced that they had the greatest surprise for him.
Come show me what it is..

This was when our kanna and Bhalrama came and hugged Bheem. Bheem was taken away. He thought it was a dream as he was sure that the yadhavas didn't visit Indraprastha.
"He asked am I dreaming"
"No you aren't"spoke Satyabhama.and ''how is our surprise''asked Rukmini.

Bheem was actually in short of words as he had reached the level of extreme happiness." I would never forget this day" said Vrikodar.

Then he said " I think that I am having more surprises from each one of you"

"Sure" replied everyone.

"But I can't wait to eat Panchali what have you cooked for me today" asked the Foodie.

"That's a surprise too" answered the Queen...
