The elighted family was there standing in the temple of three eyed lord seeking his blessings.Everyone were subdued in their prayers. But there was one who was feeling ill at ease as his craving for delicacies were overpowering his mind to let him think about anything else.
"Mata could have left us to eat first then could have we advanced to the temple. Why are they doing this to me??" thought the second Pandav in his mind shaking his head.
"Bheem!" screamed his mother bringing him back to the world.
"What happened.l told you to take the prasaad.""Ohh Mata thank you " said Bheem still in a trance. He got the laddoo in his hand
"Who were you thinking about?" asked Krishna with his innocent smile as if he didn't know who it was .
Nakul replied "Don't you know Vasudev there is only one thing that Bhratha Bheem could love more than anything else"
"What's that" asked DeviRevathi wife of Bhalrama.
For this the three younger Pandavas answered excited in unison "food" earing a glare from Kunti.
"Hey what?? Bhratha see they are kidding me even on my birthday." Bheem Whined.
"Arjun,Nakul, Sahadev be quiet" told Dharmaraj
For which the three gave a fake expression of fear saying sorry."Ok ok come let's go to the palace. I am feeling hungry." Said Bhalrama in support of Bheem.
In the palace...
Everyone were sitting in the dining hall
as they had planned to have their breakfast together. The royal women were serving.
Madhav asked the women to sit so that everyone can eat and have fun together. They did so and then Bheem asked his Mata "what special dish was made".
She replied that every delicacy on his plate were special as his brothers made all of them for him by themselves."What!! " Bheem was in a way astonished as he couldn't believe that his brothers cooked.
" Mata what did you say they did it I can't believe" said and laughed recollecting his mother's words."Bhratha Panchali taught us and we did it ." Said Sahadev.
Nakul proclaimed that after tasting his dishes Draupadi wished to learn cooking from him. "She told me that I am the world's best cook".said Nakul winking at his wife.
Everyone looked at the Queen for her answer. As she opened her mouth to answer Bheem put two ladoos in her mouth and asked if Nakul was talking about this ladoo as his best dish.
The Queen was startled for a moment. She covered her mouth with her hand and was chewing the ladoo with difficulty and looked at Vrikodar with wide eyes. Two ladoos were huge for that small mouth.
Before she could speak up Bheem said " "Wow Nakul it's delicious come here I want to feed you one by myself".
Nakul passed victory looks towards his brothers and came to Bheem.
Draupadi with difficulty spoke "Arya".
But she was cut by Nakul who said "wait Panchali let my brother show his love on me".
Bheem took as much ladoos as he can in his fist and feeded it on a whole to Nakul.Nakul's reaction turned from happiness to a vague expression as he ate the laddoo. He shrinked his face as if he had drank a jar full of salt water. Indeed yes.
Draupadi and Bheem broke into laughter while the others passed confusing looks.
Nakul said " oh I have not eaten anything as worst as this" still chewing those huge lump of ladoos.Arjun tasted a small bit of ladoo and stated "It tastes salty".
Everyone stared at Nakul as he gave some worstest expressions."You are world's best cook na" asked Bheem in a mocking tone.
"You should have told me Panchali"Nakul said in a defeated tone .
"I tried Arya It was you who did not leave me to speak". She retorted."Please give me water... Water... Oh no.."
Said Nakul who was out of his senses. Then Bheem made him drink a jug full of water.
The others could do nothing but laugh at Nakul's banter.Nakul passed defeated looks to them and sat back in his seat.
"Bhratha you could have told that it was salty in a gentle manner" said Nakul in a childish tone making the others smile."Arya didn't you know the difference between salt and sugar" asked Draupadi in a mocking tone.
"Panchali please don't speak about the disaster. ugh still that taste lasts in my tongue ." Nakul said.On seeing this Bheem told "Nakul don't get worried I will teach you how to cook. But you have did something to surprise me right that itself shows your love for me" said Bheem in a convincing tone for which Nakul shook his head and came back to his jovial mode.
They had a hearty breakfast with endless laughter tickling each and everyone.
After breakfast Bheem went to meet the citizens who were waiting to wish their yuvaraj on his birthday. When he returned back everyone were waiting to give him gifts.
He recieved gifts from everyone and said " The presence of all of you in my life is itself a big present for me".Everyone nodded in a affirmative yes.
After which Sahadev announced that Nakul and Panchali are going to sing a song for Bheem.
"Is it so" gasped the others.Sahadev was anchoring the whole event. He announced Now we would like to present a song .
Here we have the lyricist Samrat himself. Singers Nakul and Draupadi and musician Arjun.
Everyone were very eager and clapped and encouraged them. After which Dhananjay showed his skill in music while both Nakul and Yagyaseni matching it with their melodious voices.
The whole place filled with aroma of music. They felt as if the sweet honey had entered their ears. Such sweet was their song on a whole .Bheem was very excited and hugged his brothers. He praised them particularly his Queen.
Then with everyone's insistence Krishna blew his flute taking everyone to their dream world.
The musing soothening their hearts and entertaining their mind. After that they had some talks pulling each and everyone's leg laughing endlessly.
Bheem had his dinner from his mother's hand . He reminisced those happy careless days of his life roaming through the jungle with their father Pandu getting small scoldings from ma Madri.
Everything had changed now but one thing still stays stronger and more stronger than those days.
The bond between him and his brothers...Their love and bond continues forever...
The night sky has showed up everyone retiring to sleep with the stars taking in charge.
Bheem and Kunti were there looking at the sky with heartful of wishes and hopes that their immortal one the king Pandu himself would be happy. To be continued...
