Chapter Seven: Ryan

The rest of the convention consisted of low key flirting and Griffballs being thrown around. Ryan thought how perfect it was to just have Gavin to hisself. But he remembered that as soon as they land in Austin, their relationship would have to end. He would go back to his wife and Gavin to Meg. The pair was packed up and headed down to the lobby. They rode in silence, with hands intertwined. Not that many fans were around to see.
"Last chance. Boarding for Austin Texas, Gate 238" the flight attendant spoke as the two men walked through the tunnel. They took their seats and waited.
"Gavin?" Ryan broke the silence.
Gavin turned toward him as he awaited for Ryan to continue speaking.
"I don't want our relationship to end here." His voice soft and had hints of sorrow. His eyes glossy with fresh tears as they started to stain his cheeks.
Gavin looked at him and thought how weird it felt to watch a guy who goes on murder breaks, break down in front of him.
"Then let's not. We can still be together." Gavin spoke after a few minutes of silent sobs.
"How? We are both in relationships. Even worse, I'm married and have kids. You just have Meg. I can't just drop my wife and kids. They mean a lot to me." Ryan ranted on. Soon, they were in the air. (I made a joke)

They landed in Austin and were soon on their way back to Stage 5. It was a quiet ride, only the motor and the tapping of Gavin typing a message to someone. The building came into view as they pulled into the parking lot. None of them said a word to each other as Ryan turned off the car and opened his door. Slamming it shut, he made his way to the AH office. Gavin, like a lost puppy, followed closely behind. As the duo entered, everyone greeted them with warm welcome. They stopped once in a while to make small talk with people. But they proceeded to the office. The door opened as Ray and Michael ran into Ryan and Gavin. Geoff and Matt laughing like maniacs was heard as Jack, Kdin, Lindsay and Jeremy were filming.
"What the fuck?" Ryan said as he stood up and stepped over the Lads. Gavin squealed as Ray was on top of him.
"Sorry Vav." Ray said and he sat up on his knees. Michael laid on the floor laughing at what happened.
"Michael and Ray thought there was pizza here so they were racing to the kitchen." Geoff spoke through his fits of laughter.
"Oh." Ryan replied.
The questions flowed out of everyone's mouths as to why they were there early.
"Geoff, I have something to tell you." Gavin spoke nervously.
"Ryan and I...," Gavin looked at Ry with a look of concern.
