"After whisking, you have to add sugar little by little. And then add some evaporated milk instead of fresh milk." David was explaining step by step carefully while whisking the egg yolk with his right hand.
Susan nodded and wrote them down. But she can't seem to concentrate as the image of David whisking the egg distrubed her.
He was wearing white shirt with sleeve rolled up to his elbow and the veins on his forearm popping out. He's slim and muscular with an almost perfectly symmetrical face, has chocolate eyes, thick eyebrows, long and sharp nose. He has that kind of face that stop you in your track. Susan was immersed with her thought that without realising she keeps staring David.
"Are you okay?" A deep voice snapped her thought. David saw a slight blush on her cheeks.
"A... Ah.... I'm fine" Susan stutter a bit.
"Okay... After that... Bake this cake for 45minutes at 180°C. And then we are done." David placed his cake mixture to the oven and the two stared to prepare for decoration.
"Sulbin-ah.... Come here... Let's taste David-shi's cake" Susan called sulbin to try the cake. Susan was brimming with joy as she looked the cake in front of her.
Her lips curled into a smile looking at the cake and asked David "What is the name of this cake? It's the first time I've seen this kind of cake .... It looks so yummy "
David can't help but breaks into a smile when he saw her reaction. "I haven't named it yet. This is the second time I made this cake..... Well... Why don't you name it after tasting."
"Are you sure?" "Well why not? I haven't come up with a good name. So why don't you give a try?" "Okay.... But I can't think of one right now.... How about I'll tell you next time we meet?" "Okay then... " the both smiled and when they looked up... Their gaze met....
"Susan unnie...." Sulbin entered the kitchen with Jinwoo. Susan quickly turned her gaze to Susan... "Oh... Jinwoo... What brings you here."
"Aish... I knew that you would forget. Today is the 25th day! Which means THE FEAST!!!" Said Jinwoo happily.
"Oh ... Already? Okay then call the other staffs too.... I'll reserved a table... Usual place right?"
David looked puzzled but didn't ask anything.
"Ah David-shi would you also come with us for dinner?" Susan asked him.
"Sounds great" David replied with a smile.
After that, the three tasted the cake and showered David with nothing but compliments. And then they headed to Maple tree house BBQ restaurant ,their usual hangout.
