Do you want to keep separate bank accounts? What if you have children, I mean adopt or foster children. I don't mean to imply you can't have children the norm.... "I think we should go elsewhere for our marriage counseling. Thank you for your time," replied Ella. She looks to her fiance to say"Adiamo." She and her fiance get up to leave. Ella and her fiance head to the car to drive home. "I can't believe he had the nerve to say that to us. It is none of his business if or how we have children. Even though I was adopted by my mother's cousin who I call auntie. She has set a great example that we do plan to follow" as Ella grabbed her fiance's hand to hold while driving with her other hand.
"Do you think we really need counseling? We have been living together for the past year and a half."
"I plan to only get married once. So I want to do everything we can to make sure it will stick."
