"We have the caterer, cake, florist, and both of our dresses all set for next month. The last thing we need to do is go to the lawyers tomorrow and finish the terms of our prenup", replied Mina. "It's not like either of us have a lot of money. I don't think you would ever come after my teacher's pay".
"I just rather be safe than sorry sweetie. Plus my aunt would have a fit if I don't protect myself from any future liabilities. She would say she had raised me better than that. What time does your dad get in next week," asks Ella.
"He comes in on Thursday so he can make it to the rehearsal dinner on Friday. So your aunt and my dad will come on the same day. What if our families don't get along?"
"My aunt would just offer me money not to marry you."
"Wait, what," Mine replied.
"I am joking as long as I am happy she is happy. I know your dad is excited about the wedding. I am sorry your mom won't get out in time."
"Yeah, she still has a few years left. She was so angry at my dad and it has costed her more than what she had expected."
"She probably would have gotten less time if she defenestrated him."
"It wouldn't have been the first time that had happen to him. He has fallen out of a window before but I don't think anyone threw him."
"Maybe we should not discuss your family once my aunt comes since I don't want her to worry about what I am getting myself into."
"That sounds like a plan."
