" What the hell were you two doing last night? " Cassandra asked.

" Sleeping? " I said.

" You? " She turns to Adrian.

" It was night. . .so sleeping " he shrugs.

" You guys weren't supposed to be sleeping! " She smacks our forehead and I yelp rubbing the pain away.

" Why? " I whine, she exhales in frustration.

" We were supposed to kill the king last night, Eugene almost got caught because of your absentee! " She shouts.

" I mean, I didn't know that " I said, she squinted her eyes at me.

" Adrian was supposed to tell you that " she said.

" He didn't tell me anything–you didn't tell me anything! " I turn to him and Cassandra cross her arms.

" Where were you? " Cassandra asked, he nervously laughs and looks at the both of us with a smile.

He then runs off.

" Hey! " I shout.

" Adrian! " Cassandra yells, I turn to her and smile lightly.

" What are we going to tell Ervin and Mithian? "

" We? " I asked.

" Yes we! " She said and groan in frustration as she run her fingers through her hair then kick a log on the ground but ended up yelping in pain and hopping on one foot.

I wince as she curses loudly.

" Fuck!, Fuck!, Damn it!, Fuck! " She hops and I hold her arm so she wouldn't fall.

" Are you okay? " I asked.

She then holds her breath and set her foot down slowly as her face is turning red.

" C-C-Cas-Cassan-Cassandra? " I stammer.

She exhale then turns to me with a smile.

" I'm alright " her red face fades and I notice her left eye just twitched, I let go of her and back up.

" Now would you please, I need to report back to the prince and princess " she walks away with a limp and grunting lightly from the pain on every step she takes.

I was about to slash down but I stop myself when I see Josie.

" Josie? " I put my hand down and she walks up to me then aggressively grab the collar of my jacket.
