Y/n's pov. 

" How are we going to do this? " Adrian asked.

" To be honest I have no idea " I said.

" Fuck, we're just going to let him die then " Cassandra said.

" No we're not going to now " Adrian said.

" How about Y/n assist Mithian in there with Eugene, while Cassandra and I warn General Hector? " He asked.

" We'll be alone in there with no alibi, if things go wrong, it's on us " Eugene said.

" Then we're just going have to not make a mistake " I said.

" I doubt that " Cassandra said then walk away with Adrian.

" Let's go " Eugene said.

We both leave the corner we were in and walk down the hallway casually making our way to Mithian and Ervin's chambers.

" What is your power anyways? " I asked.

" Me? " He asked.

" Yeah you, who else am I talking to? " I asked.

" I'll tell you later " he said as we already arrive at the chambers but before we could knock, Mithian and Ervin has already stepped out.

" Your Highnesses " we both bow our heads.

" Excellent, your both here " Mithian said.

" Let's go, your father is waiting in the throne room for us " Ervin smiles and Mithian and nodded.

She turns around and takes his arm as we follow them, I nudge Eugene as I saw a long ass blade dagger that is hidden in her ribbon waist, it's not really visible from afar but close like this, you can see the handle just poking out visibly, I glance at Eugene and he nodded lightly.

We arrive at the council room door and we enter as we see Joseph and Chloe having a conversation, they look worried.

" Ervin may I talk to you? " Chloe asked, Ervin nodded and walk to the corner and start chatting as Joseph approaches his daughter.

" What's going on? " Mithian asked.

" Nothing, just something your mother needs to discuss with him while you will have a discussion with me " he said then turn around to the table where there's a long rectangular box, he opens it and reveals a sword.

My eyes averted to Mithian about to grab her sword when her hands drop as soon as Joseph turns around to her with the sword in his hand. It has an iron blade with engraved markings which is the Rovaria runes from our ancestors, it's a traditional sword with the handle made out of fine leather, even though how old it is, it looks as good as new.

" This is our family runic sword, it is used many times in different occasions, for example the Knighting Ceremony " he place the handle in her hands.

Mithian smiles.

" It's sharp " she said.

" It had to be kept sharp, but in the Knighting Ceremony you only use the flat side of the blade "

" Why aren't you doing this? " Mithian asked as she turns around from him and grip the handle of her sword.

Eugene and I prepare our hands.

" The next time your Queen, you may do this yourself without practicing, tomorrow's Knighting Ceremony will be hosted by you, I've decided to do this because I want to remember something that should be memorable- "
