" I don't think it's a good idea in the first place " Katelyn said.

" I was thinking if I go there it would make me feel better other than grieving here and not do anything about it " I said.

" I'm with Katelyn " I turn to Travis with a raised brow.

" She's right, we don't know if it's a trap or not, you can't trust them anymore " he leans back on the wall.

" I know my General, he wouldn't lie, he knows me and. . . .he's more like a father to me " I turn away from the window to face them all.

" You do remember they're also the one who hunted you down for three days where your wounded and almost died " Gene said.

" It's the king's order of course he can't disobey " I said.

" I don't like the sound of it " Katia said.

" When has it ever been? " I asked.

" Y/n, it has only been a week and you're been through hell, it'll suck if you go there and he'll betray you again " she said.

" We'll be able to watch the lanterns from there, it's not that far from the kingdom either and no one is going to know that we even entered Rovaria " Gene said.

" I'm in I guess, I've never been to a lantern festival before so might as well join " Katia said.

" I'm going back to duty " she walks away then head down the stairs where the trap door is left open.

" We'll ride out tonight, I know a shortcut to Rovaria that'll save us three days of horse ride " Gene said.

" I can prepare us some food to enjoy the view " Katia said.

" Make sure there's buttermilk buns " Travis said, my cheek flustered red when he looks at me while saying that with a smirk.

" I'll head to the bakery " Katia and Gene then left the treehouse as the trap door shuts.
