I cup my hands full of the spring water and soak my hair as the hotness of the liquid runs down my body. I exhale as I lean back and close my eyes hearing the sound of the cricket in the forest clicking and the sound of the silence is also calming.

Sitting here for the past five minutes is boring but calm.

" I already have a hectic day, I don't need you to make the worse-worst " I said.

" Coraline and Hattie already left, thought I could join you " I sigh.

" Make yourself comfortable "

I hear him stripping and the water rippling, feeling the water move, I open my eyes as I see Kousuke soaking himself with the water.

" Can't sleep? " He asked.

" You don't come here as often as you use to " I said.

" Ko garre janai, beddo ni modori nasai " I look at him in confusion.

" I used to run into my parents room when I get nightmares, my father would get angry, it means, go back to sleep and face your fears " he said.

" How can I face it when the thing that I'm afraid of is me? " I asked.

" You were gone for 24 hours, what happened? " He asked.

" I don't know, everything happened so fast " I said.

" How are your eyes?, I mean it technically rolled back for straight 24 hours into your brain " he said.

" I don't want to talk about it " I said.

He hums and lean back next to me.

" Why are you here? " I asked.

" I came to check on you " he said.

I look at him from the edge of my eyes then look back down at the water as it reflect the gibbous moon above our heads.

" It's a pretty shitty excuse " I said, he snickers.

There was a moment of silence.

" Who's Travis? " I turn my head to him.

" When we brought you here, you kept mumbling that name " he looks at me with a raised a brow.

I look back down at the water as the heat warms my body.

" He was the love of my life, I loved him "

" Before you all kidnapped me, we had a fight by the treehouse before it was set on fire by the Rovarian hunter "

" He told me to head down to the northwest cave of the forest and wait for him. . . .I suppose he's still waiting " I said.

" We didn't exactly had a choice, from our point of view you were surrounded by people who we thought was a threat " he said.

" I don't blame you " I said.

" Why haven't you gone back? " He asked.

" The things we've said to each other was ruthless, we were shouting, screaming, yelling, all of that is the same but we were at our breaking point "

" I thought it was over for us, when I was running for the cave I've thought on how I was going to face him after that conflict "

" Then you should go " he said, I look at him and he looks at me with a shrug.

" Everyone knows your alive, he surely be waiting for you now " he said.

" But what will he think of me?, He might as well find another person better than me "
