AN: Just a quick disclaimer, some of the scenes we wrote with Freddie in them are a bit... harsh and violent. Just to be clear, we don't think Freddie was like this in real life, we're mostly feeding into the action-packed theme of this story and also giving a extra kick with the drama. Hope you all enjoy the first chapter, thanks for reading!

Later that day, Freddie got a call via the landline.
"Freddie?" Lennon said.
"Speaking," Freddie replied. "What's the news?"
"We have an emergency. Bring the rest of the boys and get your arse to our office, now!" barked Lennon.
"What's wrong?" Freddie asked. "What's with all the fucking shouting?"
"Just get your arse to the base!" Lennon yelled.
"Alright!" Freddie yelled. "No need to blow my fucking ears off! I'll be there in a minute!"
With that said, Freddie immediately hung up.
"Freddie?" Mary said as she came through the door and rushed to Freddie's side. "What's wrong?"
"The bosses are calling," Freddie muttered as he kissed Mary on the cheek. "I've gotta run, I'll see you soon."
"I need to tell you something before you go, Freddie," Mary said as she took hold of Freddie's arm.
Freddie's eyes trailed from the floor up to Mary's face, her cheeks were red and her eyes started to tear up.
"Hey, hey," Freddie cooed. "I'm here, love, talk to me."
"But... your- your job—" Mary began.
"They can wait," Freddie said. "Tell me, what's wrong, Mary?"
"Nothing's wrong, Freddie," Mary mumbled as she chuckled. "I'm pregnant."
Freddie let go of Mary's face and took a step back, his eyes went wide.
"Freddie?" Mary said as she took a step towards him. "Are you alright?"
Freddie's eyebrows furrowed, he sucked his cheeks slightly, his mustache tightened on his lips.
"Freddie?" Mary said.
Freddie closed his eyes as he relaxed the muscles in his face and let out a sigh.
"I'm not joking, Freddie," Mary said sternly. "I'm a month along but... you know about my fertility problems... what if I miscarry?"
Freddie rushed over to Mary and took her arms in his hands.
"Shh, shh," Freddie said softly. "You won't, you'll be alright. Everything will be fine."
"What's going on? Everything alright?" asked Rosh.
"I'm pregnant, but I'm scared, Rosh," Mary mumbled. "There's a high chance of miscarriage."
Rosh crossed her arms and leaned against the doorway.
"Are there ways to improve the situation?" Rosh asked Mary.
"Well... maybe a surrogate mother... but, I can't—" Mary began.
"Sign me up," Rosh said. "Please."
"Rosh..." Mary started.
"It's the least I can do for you," Rosh replied. "I can carry this baby."
"You don't have to do this!" Mary argued.
"I want to help," Rosheen replied, scratching Delilah, who had jumped into her arms. "I want to... be of use, to you both."
