Inseparable (A NaruHina Story)

-Hinata-

Wow.

This building is HUGE for being only like 20 stories tall. I mean, I did tour it during my job interview and the testing session but I still can't get over how beautiful it was.

I arrived about thirty minutes earlier than my scheduled time to start. Surprisingly, I was able to get up so early as well. Considering how late I fell asleep. I swear my gaming mates don't know the definition of sleeping early.

I didn't either until I was sluggishly dragging myself around my apartment this morning getting ready.

"Hyuga Hinata?" 

A man with short black hair greeted me with by the glass doors. Oh crap...I forgot that you don't have to dress up for this job. The attire was just casual and I'm over here in a professional light purple blouse and a pencil skirt. He was just wearing a simple black t-shirt and some tight jeans. So much for trying to fit in day one.

I already screwed up.

"Y-yes?." I gulped.

He smiled. "I'm Sai. I'll be your tour guide for a bit since the head of your department is in a meeting."

"Oh. Okay." I bowed my head. "Nice to meet you."

He never lost his smile. "Come on in. We'll get your badge made first in the HR department."

Sai waited for me to close the space between us and held the door open for me. I thanked him before he took lead into the bright lobby filled with windows. I glanced to the right briefly at the waiting area where three people sat with folders in hand. They must be here for their interviews, too. I remember mines all too well.

It was...an overall strange interview to say the least.

My tour guide walked right up to the guards' station. "Remember this face. She's going to be starting here today, alright?"

I bowed to them, too. "Hello. I'm Hinata Hyuga."

The two guards returned greetings, all with friendly smiles. The one on the right just smirked, his eyes doing full scans on me. "Definitely gonna remember you, Ms. Hyuga."

Ms. Hyuga?

"Moving along then." Sai's smile never disappeared as we walked through the security gates. The entire time, I felt two pairs of eyes following us until we turned a corner to the elevators.

"Don't mind them." laughed Sai as he clicked the button for the elevator. "They're a couple of perverts but they don't mean any harm."

Right...

The doors opened and we both stepped inside. 

Okay.

If I recall correctly, all starting employees start on the second floor. As they get promoted, they move up the floors. The HR department is on the third floor; closest to the new employees for the comfort. Break rooms and playing rooms are also located there as well.

The highest floor is where the CEO and the head of departments are. Sai must be up there along with the others. They should have trainers...why is a head down here with me?
