The tall buildings of U.A grew larger as they approached, the hum of the motor echoing around them as they drove their way to the front gates. They stopped in front of the entrance. Katsuki reluctantly unwrapped his arms from Eijirou and took off the helmet. He hopped off the bike and turned to Eijirou.
"Thanks, that was by far the most fun I've had in a while." He said with a genuine smile. Eijirou returned it.
"You have my number, call me."
And with that, he flipped up the little parking stick of his motorcycle with his leg and smiled before he cranked back his gas with a loud roar and sped off into the distance.
Katsuki watched him disappear behind a corner and smiled to himself before turning back towards the looming towers of U.A and walking towards them.
"Kacchan! Why were you out so late? You didn't tell anyone you were going out..!!" Midoriya peeped, Iida approaching from behind him. Katsuki huffed and ignored him, mentally preparing myself for Iida's lecture.
Iida practically chopped the air with his hand like he always does, and rambled on about curfew and how he should of inform Aizawa about his departure, Katsuki didn't even bat an eye at him and walked upstairs, internally excited about talking to Eijirou again, even if he had only just left.
Once out of sight, Sero spoke up. "What's up with him..? I swear I saw him smile a bit."
"Smile? No way.." Kaminari came up from behind the sofa sero was sat on. "I wonder where he went!"
Both of them, along with a couple others who sat in the common room starting discussing about it, although it wasn't a serious conversation. At least until Jirou joined in.
"Im pretty sure I heard a motorcycle, and a couple minutes later he shows up.." she looked up from the ground. "But he doesn't know how to drive a bike..?" Everyone turned to Midoriya.
He put a finger on his chin and thought for a moment, before looking up and shaking his head. "No, I don't remember him mentioning a bike, or driving one, ever." A thoughtful silence fell over them.
"Maybe someone else dropped him off? I don't expect him to go out so late at night alone, and it would give him a reason to be... happy?" Sero spoke up, again. They all internally cringed at the word 'happy', not really being able to imagine Katsuki being genuinely happy apart from when he's about to blow someone to ashes.
"Right... but who? It can't be anyone from U.A can it?"
"Maybe a relative?"
The subject seemed to end at that, not exactly having much else to talk about on the matter.
Once upstairs, Katsuki immediately flung himself onto his bed, not bothering to change into clean clothes and pulled his phone out.
Opening up his contact, his heart soared when he saw Eijirou was already typing.
Hope you had as much fun as I did, looking forward to seeing you again soon. ;)
Katsuki squeaked. 'Why do I feel so giddy!?' He immediately replied to him.
Same here.
They talked for hours. Eventually they got tired of texting and called each other. Laughter echoed throughout the dormitory's corridors and lazy smiles filled their hearts with euphoria as time ticked way past Katsuki's usual bedtime.
"How about tomorrow? Oh wait, you have school right?"
Katsuki snorted. "Yeah, but it's not like there's anything important planned tomorrow. I could skip."
Eijirou's brows furrowed in confusion on his phone scene. "I mean... I don't wanna get in the way of your learning."
"Just trust me you goofball."
