Back when I was a kid, summer holiday was the most joyful time I could ever have. I loved summer holiday. It's not the sun, rather, I loved going on holiday or even just staying at home with my Nintendo DS.

I wasn't too much of an outside child, really. I preferred to be home by myself. Every year since I could, I'd write some little notes about my summer days. They had always been fun to write for I knew exactly what I'd be doing during the summer. But on my third year of writing them, I lost my joy. I didn't feel any spark of joy at all when I knew my family wasn't going for a holiday while the Robertson family was.

The Robertson boys were the only friends I had in the neighbourhood. Sure, there were other kids lived there, but they were all either girls or infant boys, and that's the problem. Girls weren't so nice to me, nor was I nice to them, and I wasn't good with babies.

For four weeks, I was happy enough staying in playing Animal Crossing on my DS. But after five weeks doing so, I guess I needed some human interactions. I had heard that a family was moving into the neighbourhood, so I decided to step out of my house and start writing that year summer notes.

Somebody finally moved into that fancy house after weeks of renovation. There has been several trucks parked on that big no-longer-empty house since this morning. I've always been curious how the inside looks like. From outside I could see nothing but its spacious land. Which makes the house has three neighbours across it, along with two houses right next to it. The house was in a corner, so its two neighbours were actually on two different sides. But again, due to its spacious land, they were right next to it.

I want to check the new neighbour's children and would like to make new friends since Andrew and Sam aren't here until summer ends. I'm going to ride my bicycle around the neighbourhood.

Result: Yes, they have a child. Unfortunately, it's a girl. Oldsbourne is definitely turning to a girl boarding school, isn't it? She seemed older than me anyway. I might be wrong, I'm not sure. But I could say she's not any younger than me. She didn't seem so friendly. Doesn't matter. I don't like to be friends with girls after all.
