Tangled Oneshots

Camping Trip

Y/n woke up with a huge smile on her face...today was the day!
The day she had been dreaming about for weeks....Queen Rapunzel had invited her and some of her other friends to go camping!

Y/n quickly got dressed and practically flew out the door, without taking the time to say goodbye to her parents.

Rapunzel paced back and forth in the throne room, "OK..Eugene....we're still waiting for y/n, do you think she's coming?"

Eugene gave a mocking laugh,
"Are you kidding? That's all the kids ever talks about is how much she looked forward to this!"

Lance hummed in agreement as he took a bite of a chicken drumstick.

"Well..." Rapunzel paused as someone walked into the throne room.
"Oh, y/n! You're here! Good...now we can get going..."

Y/n scanned the room for anyone she hadn't met before...then her eyes landed on Varian.

"No way! I didn't know YOU were friends with Rapunzel too!"
She laughed.

Varian looked up from the chemistry book he had been reading...
"Y/n? "

"You remember me? We were best friends a couple years ago...until...."
She paused...she didn't want him to feel bad.

Varian quickly looked back at his book..hoping that no one would make eye contact.

"Anyway gang.." Rapunzel sang.
"We should head out and set camp before it gets dark!"

Everyone quickly got up and followed her outside.

When they had reached their camping spot..they at set up their tents while Eugene got wood for the fire.

"You know Blondie...the last time we were here, I was taking you to Corona...it's funny we ended up here again.." He said, as he dumped a pile of sticks into the fire.

Rapunzel smiled, "yeah, that's really cool...Eugenie..."

Eugene gave her a look of horror,
"Oh PLEASE NO! last week it was Eugeetles!...and G'bug!...."

Lance burst out laughing and got a little too close to the fire...and his shoe caught on fire.

He ran around franticly, and Varian tossed a vial of blue liquid at Lance.
And the fire dissappered.

Y/n gasped, "whoa....that's super cool! Want is it?"

Varian looked sheepishly at his backpack and pulled out another vial,
"Oh, it's a chemical compound...of my own design...it's supposed to put out a fire without needing water.."

Y/n laughed, "that's super cool! What did you name it?"

Varian hesitated,
"Well its name isn't the best...but I call it...The Fire Extinguisher..."

Y/n smiled, "so this is what you've been up to ever since the attack?"

Varian laughed uncomfortably,
"Yeah...uh...well technically it's my job now.."

Y/n cocked her head, "your job?"

Rapunzel grinned, "yeah...he's my Royal Engineer!"

Y/n crossed her arms,
"Rapunzel we're you eavesdropping?"

"No..OK fine, yes....but I didn't want to listen to that.."
Rapunzel motioned to Eugene and Lance who were having a muscle contest.

Varian couldn't help but stifle a small laugh...the two men looked appsuletly stupid as they tried to lift Maximus.
