The Vampire King BXB (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

Welcome to Chapter 2 of The Vampire King. I hope you all enjoy and I will try to get Chapter 3 up asap.

I stand on top of the school roof getting ready to jump when I hear the sound of footsteps on concrete behind me. I turn around to see what it was and I see a tall, lean, and strong figure, standing behind me. He was looking at me like I was crazy, which I am. He had this luring stare that made me want to trust him but, I can't trust anyone because they might hit me like all the rest of the people in my life. What if he is here to kill me? What if he wants to show my school that he can kill the 'loser'?

"What do you want?" I ask rudely.

"I want you, my sweet." He replies in a very loving way.

My brain is telling it's a trick.

"Why would someone like you want someone as ugly as me?"

"Well, I want you because you are my beloved."

"Your beloved?"

"Yes, have you ever heard of the Vampire King?"

"Yes, I have heard of the legend of the Vampire King, Luther Demetrius killed a priest named Gabriel for revenge of his fallen love."

"You know how the Vampire King is said to roam around in search of his, well my, beloved?"

"Wait, you are the Vampire King?! I'm talking the one and only Vampire King?! I've wanted to meet you ever since I heard the legend." I exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes, and you are the one I've been searching for."

"Can I see your fangs?"

'What are you doing stupid? Why are you going with him?'

"You will get to see them when we get to our home."

After he said that, he picked me up and I realized that I was not on the roof about to jump, but I was in his arms, bridal style, in the sky jumping from building to building. My anxiety went through the roof as I said, "You don't have to carry me. I don't want to put any strain on you with how heavy I am."

I try to get out of his arms but then realize that we are up in the air, about 35-40 ft. off the ground, I tense and hang on to him while my eyes close instinctively. I look up at him and see a furious look in his eyes. I flinch and he looks down at me smiles then looks away. He still looks mad.

'Oh no, I made him mad. Now I'm going to get hit.'

As if he was reading my mind he said, "You did not make me mad, the people who hurt you made me mad. I will never hurt you unless I am punishing you."

He then growls an animalistic growl before replying to my earlier statement in a very sexy way, "You are NOT heavy. You are very light and that is not safe for humans. When we get home I will cook you a meal and you will eat it."

"You don't have to cook for me!!! I mean it. Please don't waste your food on me. Mommy and Daddy say that I don't deserve food and..." he cut me off.

"You do deserve food. I'm going to cook you a meal and that is final. I can feel your rib cage and that is not okay." he said with a demanding tone of voice.

I couldn't argue any longer as the day's event had tired me out and I fell asleep in his arms while he carried me to his house.
