Oikawa x reader (exchange student)

(This is continued from the previous chapter. *wink wonk* )

It was lunch and you decided to sit with the boys team today.

"Heyya team! How's life?"
You asked happily.

"Someone seems happy!"
Noya exclaimed.

"What's got you so joyful, Y/n?"
Suga asked warmly.

"U-Uh nothing in specific! I'm just having a good day is all!"

You said with a smile.

Hinata turned to you with a big smile.

"You played so well today Y/n Chan! You were like wam! bam! and woosh! then you got the kill!" He cheered.

The group nodded and a few agreed with him.

You bashfully thanked the lot and the conversation dropped back into that of casual talk.

As you had thought, things had gone back to normal. Tooru waited for you at your bus stop and the two of you walked home. The walk was silent, but it was kind of nice to walk home without having to force any type of conversation.

SIKE Never mind everything I just said. I said everything was back to normal? Welp! I lied! It was sooo awkward! Tooru Oikawa! and not talking! in the same sentence!? How!?!? and when we got home, he didn't even call out to see if anyone was home! he even opened the door with his own house key instead of waiting for me like the lazy bum he is!

Tooru ran into the house and locked himself in his room, leaving you to take off your shoes and grumble about how he would get in trouble for tracking dirt in the house.

---Ten minutes later---

"Can I come in now, Tooru?"
You asked confused.

"No! Uh... why don't we just study in your room!?"
He asked almost frantic.

You sighed.

"Unless you are butt naked right now, I'm coming in!"
You shouted through the door.

"No! Stay there!"
He yelled back.

"Are you naked..?"
You asked.

"...no"
He mumbled.

"Then I'm coming in!"
You exclaimed as you went to open the door.

"No!"
He shouted then slammed the door closed with his body weight.

"Oikawa Tooru! Open the door!"
You shouted.

"No!"
He yelled back for what seemed to be the 100th time.

You pushed on the door with all of your might and only barely did it open.

"Grrrr hey! I said you can't come in!"
He grunted trying to keep the door closed.

"You were the one who invited me to study in your room!"
You grunted back.

"Just wait a little longer!"
He yelled.

You'd both been going at it for about 10 minutes.

You huffed.

"Fine! I don't even know why you invited me to study with you, but I don't care! Be like that! I'll study by myself!"
You grumbled and stepped away from the door.

At least things are back to normal between you both. Back to the usual banter, I guess.

You heard the boy step away from the door and, instantly, you jumped at the opportunity.

Literally.

You jumped at the door, swung it open then leapt onto his bed before he could kick you out.

"Y/n! Don't look! Close your eyes! I'm not done! Geez!"
Tooru whined.

Your head tilted at him.

"What're you doing?"
You asked confused at the boy who held his washing basket.

"My room's messy! Leave so I can clean first! I'll be done in however long it takes to clean a room!"
He whined.

Your head almost fell off with how much it was tilted.

"You're cleaning your room? Who are you and where is Tooru Oikawa!?"
You asked both shocked and teasingly.

"Ha ha, very funny. I just wanted to clean my room okay?"
He grumbled a little embarrassed.

You giggled at him and shook your head.

"Alright, I'll leave. I don't mind your mess though, Tooru. I clean your room like every time Cammie's over, dork."
You said with a giggle.

He huffed.

"Yeah... I know..."
He mumbled.

You giggled at him and ruffled his hair.

"Now you're acting all depressed? You're very expressive today, Mr Oikawa. Is someone, possibly, in that time of month~?"
You teased.

He rolled his eyes at you, but chuckled nonetheless.

"Whatever chibi chan~"
He said with a smile then ruffling your hair.

You looked at him funny.

"Boi. You ain't the same Tooru I know. Why are you nice!? This is weird! Go back! Where's the keyboard!? Control alt x! Reverse! Rewind!"
You exclaimed teasingly.

"Oh shut it. Iwa's staying the night so I needed to clean the area. And for the "being nice" facade, check your hair~"
He teased.

You groaned once you felt the small sticky note in your ponytail.

"Eh? What does this kanji even mean? I've never seen it... this one can mean little maybe child?... what's this second one!? Tooru! Hey! Answer me!"
You groaned.

He chuckled and refused to tell you what it meant.

Sorry for the delay in the release of this chapter, I was asleep for most of yesterday because we had a really busy day at work and my Bio exam is tomorrow. my last exam is Health on Friday which is three days from now, so after that, I should be able to have a steady schedule!
