Ashley couldn't stand it. The pain that she felt when she was left alone in her own head hurt too much. Lucifer wouldn't leave her head. He's stuck in there like a nail. It was draining her. But Sam was there. Sam was there to hug her. To cuddle her till she fell asleep in his arms. He was there to hold her when the pain got to much. Told her sweet things. Made her laugh and smile.
It has been a week since the Lucifer thing happened. Ashley has slowly been forgetting it because of Sam.
Sam loved the smile that would spread across her face when he told some dumb little joke. And heartfelt laughs when he made stupid faces. He really loved the joy in her eyes and her little laughs when she rambles about how beautiful flowers are or about how fascinating the ocean is.
Ashley slowly stopped crying herself to sleep. She stopped flinching everytime she heard a noise. And actually truly smiled. All because of Sam.
Ashley is Sam's happiness. She is his universe. He loves her. And he makes sure to tell her every damn day. He loves her I love you too's because she means it. He loves that she does everything in her power to prolong him from leaving for hunts and always has the cutest smile for him when he gets back. He has a little sunshine to come home to.
Lucifer may never be gone from Ashley's mind. But because of Sam, Lucifer is locked away in a tiny box in the back of her mind. The rest of her mind is filled with happy memories and moments with Sam. And her heart belongs to Sam fucking Winchester. Always and Forever.
