Chapter 21 • Tag You're It

The mark of Cain and Metatron is what pushed Snow over the edge. Made her crumble. It started with the mark. She knew what it was. She knew that it is what inhanced Lucifers hate and pushed him to wipe out most of her sisters and brothers. And now Dean has it. He said he was handling it. But Snow knows what it can do to someone.
Dean and Castiel were there to hold her. Dean took the yelling and screaming that came his way from Snow.
"How could just accept it Dean!" Snow  cried. "Why!" She pushed Dean in the chest. "Do you know what it will do to you!" She pushed him again. "Why Dean!" She cried and punched him in the chest. "Why!" She just kept punching. Dean just put his arms around her. Snow gave in. Her head against his chest, salty tears staining his shirt. "I just-" she sniffles. "I love you Dean" Dean held her. "I know" Dean rested his chin on top of Snow's head. "I love you too"

After that Snow was broken. Everything was just boiling over. Dean did his best to control the mark. Castiel had spent long nights up with Snow to comfort her and to console her. Castiel couldn't stand to see the little Neko so broken inside.

But when Metatron killed Dean, everything blew up. Snow wasn't just broken. She was shattered. And when Dean came back as a demon, it was all over. He told Sam and Snow not to look for him. But everyone knew that wouldn't happen. Because of the bond, Snow could find Dean with a bit of help. And one day she did. She went to find him, alone. That was a mistake. Because what did said to her. What he did to her...she became empty.
"I told you not to look for me" "I know Dean, but I know I can save you, I can help. If you just let me" "I don't want help. You couldn't help anything if you even wanted to. You couldn't save your little siblings from dying, you can't save anyone" "Dean please, this isn't you-" "This is me!" Snow tried not to flinch at Dean yelling at her. She tried her best to seem tough and ok. But he scared her like this. A lot. "No it's not Dean!" She yelled, it came out a bit shaky though. "You are kind, you are sweet, you always do the right thing" Dean chuckled. It sent shivers down Snow's back. "Do you honestly think that's the real me" Dean backed Snow against a corner in the motel room. A very shaky "Yes" came out of Snow's mouth. "Oh sweetheart" his eyes flashed all black. "You're very wrong"

Snow did not like to think about that day. She didn't like to look at the scars from the cuts still healing. The black and blues that dawned every inch of her body. Or the blood that had run down her arms, head and legs that day. That day she went home and was met with a very concerned Sam, a concerned Ashley, a questioning Jasmine, and a very upset Castiel. But Snow thought of it differently of how they did. Dean didn't up right and kill her. He could be saved.
When Sam had cought Dean, Snow was hopeful. Sam had thought of a cure to save Dean. Snow just wasn't allowed to see Dean until he was cured. Even though Snow was still healing from what Dean did to her, she would try to sneak down and see Dean. But Castiel always caught her. She was never fast enough to slip away from Castiel because of her injuries. And Castiel comforted her when she cried about it.
"I miss him Cas" Snow cried as Castiel carried her back to bed. "I know, but Dean will be fine very soon. You can't keep trying to see him." Castiel laid the neko down in bed. Snow laid her head on Castiels lap. "It hurts so much Cas" Castiel pet her. "I know Snow. It will get better. Things will be ok"

But one day Snow did go to see Dean. Castiel was out doing something. Ashley and Jasmine were out in the forest watching the flowers and bee's. And Sam was doing something in the bunker. Snow wishes she never went down there. Because on her way to Dean, she saw him. Not in the chair tied up. He smirked at her and his eyes flashed black. Snow ran. As fast she could. Sam found her and kept her by his side as they both ran and hid from Dean. When Dean was breaking down the door Snow couldn't help but cry. When he said "I like the disease" she almost couldn't find it in herself to run. But Sam made her. Somehow, even with a injured arm, Sam managed to help her get away.
When Castiel showed up and caught Dean when he was about to get Sam, Snow was breathless. Castiel saved her again. He truly was her hero. Dean was too...just not right now.

When Dean was finally cured Snow was for a moment, truly happy. She happy she had her Dean back. And her, Castiel and him could be ok again. She didn't realize the effect everything had on her for a day or two. But she flinched when Dean tried to touch her. She spend nights sleeping in between a wide awake Castiels arms. Angles didn't sleep. So she felt more calm knowing Castiel could watch out. Every bump, every little noise put Snow on high alert.
And Dean...Dean felt like shit about it. He felt worse than shit about it. He hurt and scared his little Neko. She wasn't like Castiel, who wasn't scares at all and still kissed and hugged him. Snow was fragile. She was like a little snowflake. And Dean crushed that snowflake under his boot, figuratively and literally. He wanted to fix this. He needed to fix this. It would take some time. But he knew he could fix this, and with Castiels help, they could bring the light back in their little snowflakes eyes.

It did take time. Lots of time. Tons of crying, lots of talking, and so many hugs, cuddles and promises. Some of her light was coming back. The love these three have for each other is unbreakable. They will always and forever be together.

I kinda needed some sadness. I'm sorry but also not sorry lol I know their wasn't a lot of Snow, Ashley and Jasmine interaction, but I needed a Dean, Castiel and Snow moment. Jack will be coming in a chapter or too. Some things in the timeline may be a bit different, maybe a bit crazy, and not completely canon but I will still always stay very close to the show. Don't worry! There is just a part for Ashley that isn't quite in the show, it kinda is, just not in universe this Sam and Dean are in. If you have seen season 15 you know lol I also have a trailer for this book coming!
