"Ik hou van jou"

Y/N's POV

Another morning of me struggling to get up and get ready for school. I couldn't stay home another day because I was already too behind on school work. For these past couple of weeks I've been faking getting sick just so that I wouldn't have to go back to school where my (secret) girlfriend's friends would constantly pick on me and harass me.

Lauren doesn't know that I've been getting bullied nor do I wanna tell her. It would crush her especially if she found out it was her own friends doing the bullying and plus I could handle it (I think).

Her friends found out I was gay after they cornered me in the girls bathroom and read my journal out loud. They were instantly disgusted and called me a bunch of names and slurs and honestly I wasn't surprised ( I mean we do go to a Christian school). It's been weeks now and I can't believe they haven't outed me yet but I know that it's just a matter of time.

Now I was currently sitting in the outdoors area of the school during my lunch period. I was sitting with a half eaten sandwich by me as I wrote in my journal. Calmly writing and enjoying the fresh air it was rudely interrupted by the exact people I was hoping to avoid.

"Well if it isn't the dyke"

"What do you want? Im not doing anything" I said quickly closing my journal hoping they didn't see it.

"Not so fast lesbo" Kimberly (the biggest bitch in the whole school) said as she quickly took the journal out from under my arm. "It seems like you were writing more of your homo fantasies..... now let's see who it's about this time"

"WAIT NO" I stood up but was quickly pushed back down by her two followers or should I say friends.

Getting on top of the table with my journal in her hand she yelled out, "Gather around everyone it's time for a little entertainment"

Knowing I couldn't do anything to stop her, as her friends were watching me closely I just sat there waiting for her to ruin my life even more.

"Y/N Jauregui and Lauren Y/L? No freaking way.... She looked beautiful but when doesn't she and her hair flowed freely against her shoulders and that smile. I just couldn't keep my eyes off of her..." she read while laughing like it was the funniest thing she had ever read, but sadly she continued, "One day I am going to take Lauren to a beautiful vacation just me and her and no one else and I will cherish every moment I spend with her as she is truly the only one for me"

By now there was huge crowd around us and they were ALL laughing and throwing whispers here and there. I couldn't help but feel emotional and embarrassed. Tears were starting to form in my eyes and I lowered my head trying to save myself from the looks I was getting. I felt awful.

"Listen here you dyke" Kimberly said getting off the table and getting closer to me, "Lauren would never go out with a disgusting dyke like you and to be honest it's PATHETIC the way you thought you even had a chance" she backed up and starts to laugh along with every single person around us.

No One's POV

"HEY!" A voice broke out between all the laughter.

Pushing through the crowd that voice belonged to no other than Lauren herself. After she got to the front she took sight of what was infront her. Her friends towering over her girlfriend as she had her head down and was almost curled up into a ball on the bench. Lauren knew her girlfriend to well to already know that she only did that when she was upset.

"What's going on?"

"Oh don't worry about it Lauren we were just fixing a little problem" Kimberly said walking over to her.

"What did you do to her?" Lauren quickly rushed over to her upset girlfriend and pushed her friends out of the way.

Kneeling infront of her, "Oh baby what happened" she cupped her cheeks and lifted her head to meet her eyes

"Th-They would-wouldn't stop" Y/N said softly as tears kept coming out

Lauren broke at the sight of her girlfriend and looked around until her eyes meet her friends. And she knew that she couldn't let them get away with it.

Getting on top of the table and yelling at the crowd , "Listen here you shitheads if I see anyone and I mean ANYONE bother or come after my girlfriend I swear I will make your life a living hell"

Upon hearing the word girlfriend everyone gasped and started to whisper. Especially her friends as they looked between each other, shocked.

"Yeah thats right Y/N is my girlfriend and she has been for more than a year now and-and..." Lauren looked down towards her girlfriend who had dry tears on her face, " and I love her"

"I love my adorable, dorky, goofy, romantic girlfriend", getting off the table Lauren gently grabs Y/N's hands and pulls her up to her feet and wraps her arms around her.

"Ik Hou Van Jou"

Y/N smiles as her girlfriend had just told her she loved her in Dutch something that Y/N has done countless times but didn't think Lauren would understand.

"Ik Hou Van Jou"
