·The bright light faded and Jasmine quickly realised she was still alive. She opened one eye and then the other, looking upon Mad Eye and his very confused men. She felt some relief around her wrists and saw her shackles were off and she was free from the wall. Her gaze went from her hands to Mad Eye.
"I don't understand." She muttered.
"You were right. My wife wouldn't want this for me. And my child would have been disgusted by what I had become. But no more." Mad Eye spoke, then stamped his staff making the wall separating her off from the others disappear. Peter sent a glare towards Mad Eye before running over to Jasmine and wrapping his arms around her. He hugged her tight, and kissed her head multiple times.
"Are you alright, dear one?" Aslan came over and asked her.
"I'm fine, dad." She told him, then looked to Peter. "You came for me." She cupped his face and couldn't help the small smile on her face.
"Of course I did. I'll always come for you." He told her and pulled her into another hug.
"I don't trust this. It doesn't feel right." Kate spoke, keeping her eye on Mad Eye.
"Too easy." Edmund commented, tightening his grip on his sword.
"No, it was that easy. I was blinded by my hatred about what happened. She let me see the light." Mad Eye nodded to Jasmine. Jasmine looked to him and sent him a nod as a thank you.
"But sir, the prophecy." Skia reminded.
"It stays intact. For the future of Narnia."
"You're really gonna drop it like that?" Roic asked. "All this hard word and power we've used and you're just going to drop it like it's nothing?"
"Yes. And so should you."
"I knew you were weak." Roic said, then pulled something out of his pocket before blowing some powder into Mad Eye's face. Mad Eye became unconscious and fell to the floor, allowing Roic to take the staff from his hand as he fell. Everyone saw this action and brought out their weapons, with Peter pulling Jasmine behind him once again. "Now the real party can start."
"You won't hurt her." Peter said, holding his sword out. The others all moved to stand with Peter and aimed their weapons right at Roic. "Over my dead body."
"That can arranged seen as the prophecy is a product of you two. Literally." Roic saw Peter's confused face and let out a laugh. "You don't know, do you? Aslan didn't tell you to keep in tact. Well, I can tell you right now that Jasmine knows all about it. Don't you deary?" Aslan looked to Jasmine and she nodded shyly. "Now are going to tell him or shall I? Oh, no wait. I'll tell them."
"No, you won't." Aslan stepped foreword. "You've had this planned all along, haven't you?"
"Not as dumb as you look. I knew Mad Eye had a weakness and I thought he wasn't listening to it. But you." He pointed his staff towards Jasmine, making Peter keep her behind him and Susan ready an arrow to shoot. "You just had to speak, didn't you? That prophecy, your highness? It's to do with your filth of a kid."
Peter's face fell at the revelation and he kept a tight hold of his sword. On one hand he wanted to forget what he said for the prophecy's sake, but on the other, he was jumping up and down at the fact he and Jasmine were to have a child in the future. He liked that thought very much.
"So if you want to stand in front of her and take the hit, go ahead. Either of you would do."
"Jasmine." The girl heard her father's voice in her head. She slowly looked to him, with Roic not reacting at all. Aslan knew then that only she could hear him, and not anyone else. "When the others make a move, you need to get to the crystal and destroy it. Do you understand?"
