Skylar's POV
The drum made a rubbery noise and the lid started to rise from underneath Mike's hand.
"Woah" Bill said.
We all backed away from it except Mike who was holding the lid closed.
"Guys, is this part of it?" Beverly asked.
"Mike, is this supposed to be happening?" Richie asked.
"No" Mike said, pushing down on the lid as it grew. "Keep chanting!"
"What?" Eddie asked.
"Keep chanting!"Mike said.
"Turn light to dark" we said.

The thing that was growing turned out to a balloon. It burst out and grew bigger. We all screamed and backed up. We ran away from it and as soon as we were just outside the center of the room, it exploded and sent us flying through the sky.
My ears were ringing. I saw Eddie and crawled over to him.
"Are you okay?" I shouted.
"Yeah, are you?" he asked.
"Yeah!" I said.
"Mike!" Richie yelled.
"Mike!" Eddie yelled as well.
"Where's Mike?!" I shouted.
"I'm here" Mike said running over.
"Did we do it?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah is it over?" Richie said.
"Did we do it?" I asked.
"I mean we put the tokens in the thing, that's good, right?" Richie said.
"Did we do it?" Eddie asked again.
Beverly aimed her flashlight near the sky. Pennywise popped up. We all screamed and backed away from him.
"Did it work, Mikey?" he said, laughing. "Did it work? Tell them why your silly little ritual didn't work. Tell them that it's all just a.... what's the word Eds? Gazeebo?"
"Mike, what's he talking about?" Eddie asked.
"M-M-Mikey?" Bill asked.
"Oh Mikey, you never showed them the fourth side, did you?" Pennywise asked, crawling out from behind the spiked walls. He was huge, way bigger than he had ever been before. He laughed. "Didn't want them to know what happened to the poor Chakopewah, no, no, no."
"Fuck Mikey, you lied to us again?" Bill asked.
"What?" I said.
"They didn't believe they could kill him" Mike said. "That's why it didn't work back then."
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME MIKE?!!!!" Richie yelled.
"I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!!" I yelled and ran at him. Eddie got me and held me back. He had to pick me up to stop me.
"NO!!" he yelled. "Calm down."
"HE'S THE REASON WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!" I shouted swatting Eddie's arms. "Don't tell me to calm down!"
"Fuck you Mike!" Ben yelled.
"I needed something" Mike said, crying. "Anything for us to remember, anything for us to believe!"
