Chapter 8: Shopping Spree With One Direction

I wake up the next morning, and walk into the kitchen holding Niall's hand. We get there, and Danny and Lucia are sitting at the table. There are three empty coffee cups in front of Lucia, and a half full one in her hands. Danny looks up. "She didn't sleep at all last night, and now she's drowning herself with coffee." He says. I sit next to Lucia, and Niall follows. Lucia just takes another sip of her coffee. She says hi, but her voice cracks.

"How about we go to the mall on a shopping spree for Lucia?" Niall suggests, breaking out silence. We all look at Lucia, and she nods. Lucia and I go up to my room to change. I put on a stripped spaghetti strapped dress, and Lucia puts on the outfit I was wearing yesterday.

Before we leave my room, I grab Lucia's wrist. "Niall and I had sex last night." I say grinning.

"Well, I kinda figured since you were wearing a T-shirt and underwear, and when we came here, he was half naked in your bed." Lucia says, then leaves my room. I stand there for a minute confused. I thought she would be happy for me? I guess it's because she just lost her parents and home last night, so I understand.

I go downstairs, and open my front door to see Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn. Louis has both his hands formed in fists raised in the air, about to knock on my door. He sees me, and gives me a big smile. Lucia looks at them with no expression. "What's got your tongue?" Louis asks her.

Since she's unable to speak, I answer for her. "Last night, Lucia's parents died in a house fire..."

It goes silent, then Liam hugs Lucia. "It's okay darling, we're all here for you!" Liam says. "Anything you need, just say the word." He continues, and Lucia nods.

Harry joins the hug. "We love you Lucia. Stay strong, love. We're here, it's going to be okay."

Zayn joins in. "Perhaps they aren't stars in the sky, maybe they are openings where our loved ones shine, letting us know they are happy." Lucia just smiles.

Louis joins the hug. "If we are going shopping for you, I am taking you to Victoria's Secret. Honey, we are going to pick you out the cutest underwear! It's going to be so much fun, we're going to take your mind off of all this!" Louis says in a feminine voice.

Once in the mall, Louis takes Lucia's hand and drags her to Victoria's Secret. Lucia is laughing when she looks back at us all. In the store, Lucia stands beside Louis, and watches him go through the thongs. "Louis?" Lucia says.

"Yes, love?" Louis asks.

"I don't even wear thongs." Lucia laughs as fake anger fills Louis' eyes. Louis takes a breath.

"Well I don't think they sell granny panties!" He screams high-pitch. Everyone in the store turns to look at them, and Lucia and Louis burst out laughing. "Danny!" Louis calls. Danny is with Harry at the perfumes, and he looks up. "Get over here boy!" Harry and Danny make their way over, and Danny puts his arm around Lucia's waist as she smiles at him. Louis holds up a pink thong. "You think she'd look good in this?" Danny grins, but his face turns red with embarrassment, and Lucia burries her face in her hands.

"No!" Harry yells in protest. "But you would look fantastic in it tonight, Boo Bear!" Harry jokes, winking. Danny drags Lucia over to the perfumes.

Liam, Zayn, Niall and I are standing a couple steps away, laughing hysterically at them, but they don't seem to notice. Niall and I walk over to the lingerie, and Niall picks up a purple and black lace one. "Oh, you would look awesome in this!" He says smiling, then winks at me.

The rest of the boys make their way over to us. Louis and Zayn study the skimpy outfit, and whisper to each other. They both nod, then Zayn takes the outfit from Niall, and shoves it int my hands. "Go try it on. You three stay here." Zayn demands as him and Louis pushes me towards the changing rooms. The best part about all this is that they look so serious!
