Kehlani

Y/n's Pov

"Look like I'm going for a swim, dunked on em now i'm swinging off the rim". I jumped up as I heard the loud ass music sounding through my ears. Laying back down I yelled "Taylen turn your music down i'm trying to sleep!" I told my little sister and her being the smartass she is turned it up. At this point I was already woke so instead of arguing I hopped and went to turn on the shower and went to pick me out an outfit for the day.

After getting out the shower and brushing my teeth I got dressed and made my way downstairs to get something to eat. Taylen finally turned off her music and was sitting at the table eating Fruit Loops."Good morning" she said with a smile on her face. "Don't good morning me like you didn't wake me up." I told her while pouring me a box of Lucky Charms. "I don't know what you're talking about but i'm heading out". She said getting up and walking away. "You better come wash out this bowl and where you going?"

"Nah i'll pass, and i'm going to the mall with Riley and her older sister Kehlani". My ears perked up at the mention of the tattooed beauty. "Maybe I can go with you, you know for bonding purposes." I said stuffing a spoon full of cereal in my mouth. "Weren't you just mad at me"

I laughed and said "Nah you got it all wrong I was just messing with you". I knew she wasn't gone by it, but it's worth a try. "Mmhm whatever yeah hurry up cause they almost here." With that I said I started eating the rest of my cereal before pouring out the left over milk cause don't nobody drink that shit. I ran upstairs and to spray on some cologne I grabbed my phone and wallet and went to go make sure my hair looked good then started putting on my shoes.

I heard the doorbell ring and started jogging down the stairs to see my sister opening the door. I was on the second to last step when I tripped over my shoelace and fell face first. I heard 3 pairs of loud laughing as I was getting up. "Are- you okay?" Kehlani asked in between laughter. "It  wasn't even that funny and yeah i'm good" I said dusting myself off.

"Yeah it was, but anyways ya'll ready to go" Kehlani said as her laughter started to die down. "Yeah lemme just tie my shoes real quick" I said not wanting a repeat of what just happened a few minutes ago. 

After that we made our way outside and I locked up the house. I know how Taylen can be sometimes so before she could I yelled shotgun and ran to the passenger door causing Riley to giggle, and Kehlani to shake her head with a smile.

About half way there Chanel by Frank Ocean  came on so I turned it up and started singing to it.

"My guy pretty like a girl and he got fight stories to tell I see-" I turned to my left and looked at Kehlani like she was crazy, but she was giving me the same the look. "First off don't touch my radio and secondly don't look  at me like that." Kehlani said as she set her eyes back on the road. I turned around as I heard Taylen and Riley snickering in the backseat. "Shut up" I told them which only caused  them to laugh more.

Time Skip

We been walking  around the mall for some time now we went into a few stores,  until we got hungry. We were currently looking for somewhere to eat and they left me to to carry all the bags of clothes and shoes that they got, like this is ridiculous. I was tired of carrying their stuff so I just dropped it on the floor and continued walking.

They walked past me with glares on their faces and went to pick up their bags. I just laughed it off and kept walking until I saw a food court. I got me 2 burgers, a medium fry, and a Sprite. Taylen and Riley both got hotdogs with Cokes and Kehlani ordered Chili Cheese Fries. Tay and Riley went to go find a table while Kehlani and I waited for the food and I saw this as my chance to ask her out.

"Kehlani", I called. She looked up from her phone and said "huh". "Do you wanna go on a date with me" I asked with a smile on my face. She deadass looked at me and started laughing. My smile fell and my face shown confusion. "What's so funny" I asked, she was on the verge of tears from laughing so hard.I still held an unamused face as she started to calm down and said "I'm sorry that was funny what'd you say again" she asked with a smile. 

So I said it again "Will you go on a date with me?" I asked again with a hopeful smile. this time she didn't laugh she had an unreadable expression on her face. She was about to say something when the lady called our food number. We got our food and went to find the girls. When we reached the table they were sitting at I was able to hear them arguing about who was better between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. In my opinion Nicki is better but I wasn't trying to start anything so I just gave them their food and let them continue.

"Yes" Kehlani said out of nowhere."Yes what?" I asked, while taking a bite of my second burger. "Yes i'll go on a date with you" I smiled and then asked why she laughed when I asked her the first time. "Oh that was because I didn't know if you were serious or not" she said after she swallowed the food in her mouth.

When we left the mall it was 6 pm and since it's a hour drive from the house Taylen and I will get  there around 7 ish. Since Kehlani didn't feel like it I drove back, her, Tay, and Riley were all sleep, but atleast I didn't have to hear their bickering. I parked in driveway of the house and got out the car. "Kehlani wake up i'm at my house" I said shaking her a little bit. "No let me sleep" she groaned. 

I sighed and went to get Tay and put her on the couch cause I wasn't about to carry her all the way upstairs.I did the same with Riley and went back out to get Kehlani. I thought about leaving her in the car but that would probably jeopardize our date so I picked her up and closed the car door with my foot doing the same thing with the front door and then locking it. This time I took Kehlani upstairs and laid her down in my bed and put a blanket over her. I got me out some basketball shorts and a t-shirt and went into the bathroom to change.

When I walked on I saw Kehlani hurry up and try to turn off her phone before I saw, but failed miserably. "Yo ass wasn't even sleep, you could've walked up them stairs" I told her with playful glare. "Yeah I know, I didn't feel like it" she said in a tired tone. "Yeah alright remember that" O said and walked out of the room to get some extra blankets. "What are you doing?" Kehlani asked sitting up. I looked at her and said "Making a pallet on the floor" I replied with an obvious tone. "Y/n get in the bed and stop playing" she said. Who was I to argue with that  so I hopped in the bed and sleep take over me.
