Dinah Jane part 4

"Y/nn just get in the water already stop being a baby" Y/n was standing outside of the pool near her apartment with her hands covering  lower half. "No the w-water is cold I d-don't w-want to get hy-hypothermia"

"How do you know when you haven't even gotten in yet" Y/n been standing there for a good 3 minutes trying figure out if she wanted to get in or not. "I d-dipped my f-foot in it" 

"Just jump in like the badass you claim you are" Dinah was getting irritated with Y/n's complaining.

Y/n jumped in the pool instantly regretting it once the freezing cold water hit her skin. "See, it isn't that bad" Dinah didn't think the water was that cold, and once she got used to it it was semi-warm.

"It's cold as shit." Maybe the water was a bit cold, but it didn't matter they were both grateful to be spending time with each other and the thought of that made Y/n smile. "Why are you smiling?"

"I'm smiling b-because you're back and I m-missed you. It's weird cause I couldn't remember you but at the same time I did and everything came back an- "you talk too much lets just have fun and swim around."

"Yeah, I don't know how to do that r-remember, and i'm just now noticing my stuttering  is slowly g-going away" 

...

"Yo stop splashing me" Y/n and Dinah was in the middle of a splash contest, and Dinah was currently losing. "How you gonna st-start a b-battle and lose it kid, that's not how it w-works"

"hOw ArE yOu GoNnA sTaRt A bAtTlE aNd LoSe It, ThAt'S nOt HoW iT wOrKs" Dinah mocked her in an annoying voice.

"Aww is little b-baby Dinah gonna cry" Y/n was laughing her ass off and Dinah didn't find it amusing at all.

"No i'm not, and I wanna get out of the water now it's getting windy." 

"I feel like you are using th-that as an excuse, but it's w-whatever." Dinah rolled her eyes getting out of the water and getting her towel as she secretly stole Y/n's and hid it behind her back. "Hey Buggie where's my towel at"

"I don't know." Once Dinah said that Y/n knew she took so she made her way over to her and tried to get her towel back but before she could Dinah threw it in the water leaving Y/n naked without a towel.

"Why'd you do th-that was my only one!" Dinah laughed at her reaction which Y/n did not like. She picked her up and threw her in the water. "Y/N!" now it was Y/n's turn to laugh. "Ready to leave?" Y/n casually asked which Dinah responded to with a 'yeah'.

When they got back inside it was about 2 in the morning. "You can get in the sh-shower and I'll set you out some clothes or s-something." Dinah nodded her head and went into the bathroom. 

Y/n took the time to get on her phone and call Slug.

Y/n heard the shower water cut off which meant Dinah was getting out.

Anyways I gotta go take my shower I love you.

Alright peace out I love you too man.

Y/n set her phone down and got up ready to get in the shower. That was the moment she realized she was still naked and wrapped her towel around her waist.

"Your clothes are on the bed and when you get done you can do something until I get out of it." "Alright, I'm going to get dress then." 

After her shower Y/n got dressed and waked out the bathroom to see Dinah on the bed watching Supergirl. "This is a pretty good show, you should watch it more often." Y/n crawled onto the bed and laid down next to Dinah.

"I do watch it. Actually I've been watching since I have been here and you are currently making me miss what happened"

Dinah picked up the controller and went back to the episode she started from. "Thank you" 'Who's your favorite character and why?"

"My favorite character so far is Lena Luthor because from what I seen which is only the beginning and I believe that she is better than what people think of her." Dinah turned on her side to face Y/n.

"I don't know really I have a lot of favorites, but mainly her. Ooh and Alex, Scorcher, Lucy and Siobhan but like when she turned into Silver Banshee."

"And why do you like her when she turned into Silver B-banshee?" Dinah was geniuely interested in this. "I don't know she b-became hotter. Like all the villians was attractive. The pr-producers knew what they were doing. And then when S-supergirl got affected by red kr-kryptonite, I like her most in that m-moment. I started doing some research on the show and the ch-characters, and I feel like some of the b-bad guys aren't bad.

"Sooo you're obsessed with girls who are cursed, has powers, can fly, and insecure ex girlfriends who are in the military?" "No i'm not obsessed, more like very interested in their characters and choices they made, and the looks but that's not the point."

Y/n yawned and laid back down on her stomach. "It looks like this show is putting you to sleep so how about a movie of your choice."

"I wanna watch 'Killer Klowns From Outer Space" Dinah put on the movie and laid down with Y/n. "Do you remember the day I left and you told me you loved me?"

This was the question Y/n's been waiting for. She knew it would pop up, but she still didn't know where this conversation was going. "Yeah I remember. It's not really something I wanted to be reminded of, and that's why blocked it out. I blocked everything out."

"You just walked away and left my parents I confused. You didn't give me the chance to say I love you back Y/n, you just left."

Instead of going against her, Y/n pulled Dinah into her and closed her eyes eventually falling asleep with Dinah doing the same.
