A few days had passed since Lord Kyros had requested to Court Kalila and somehow the whole town had already found out about the courtship between them. The courtship between the fairest in all of Greece and the Richest Man in their town was all the latest gossip. Kalila had received daily gifts from Lord Kyros ranging from flowers and treats to jewels and fancy trinkets so each day he had written Lord Kyros a thank you letter spraying it with the perfume that he had been sent a few days earlier. Today like every other since the courtship had begun he was given a gift when he was woken by Danae and a few of his other servants except there was a letter with a location and time. Kalila was quickly rushed through his daily beauty routine and sprayed with the special perfumes and the nicest oils the house had. After being dressed in his best clothes and adorned with his finest jewels he was sat down in front of his Father for approval before leaving for the date. ¨ Make me proud Kalila. ¨ He nodded his head and followed Danae outside to the traveling carriage Danae followed him inside the carriage. ¨ Do you know where we're going Danae? ¨ She smiled and held his hands ¨ You'll see Kalila. ¨ The two of them talked for what felt like forever for Kalila but the closer they got to the destinations the more his stomach was tied up in knots and filled with butterflies. ¨ we've arrived Master Kalila. ¨ The two of them stopped talking and Kalila peered outside of the carriage's window to see they were at the beach ¨ He remembered! ¨Danae helped Kalila out of the carriage and over towards Lord Kyros ¨ Welcome welcome! ¨ Lord Kyros handed Kalila a basket and a box ¨ If you don't mind can your servant stay here with the others? ¨ Kalila turned to Danae and then back at Lord Kyros ¨ I don't see why not? ¨ Lord Kyros smiled and grabbed Kalila's hand before pulling him towards the beach. ¨ You look perfect today Kalila. ¨ He smiled and returned the compliment ¨ So do you Lord Kyros and thank you for remembering I like the beach. ¨ They stopped walking and sat down on the white sand near the perfectly blue ocean, Lord Kyros unpacked the basket he had given Kalila earlier ¨ Before I left I asked the kitchen staff what your favorite foods we're and had my kitchen servants make it for us today. ¨ Kalila smiled and looked at the foods laid out before him ¨ Lord Kyros that was so thoughtful thank you! ¨The two conversed while they ate and drank talking about things such as politics, their friends, each other, and so on. Lord Kyros was slowly but surely getting closer to Kalila placing his hands on him briefly every so often very inappropriately making Kalila uncomfortable unsure of what to do or say he went along with it before he knew it Lord Kyros was on top of his kissing him up and down and moving his hands all around. ¨ Lord Kyros please stop! ¨ He didn't stop he kept going but he placed a hand over Kalila's mouth to prevent him from screaming out for help so he laid their uncomfortable and helpless unsure of what to do from never have been in this type of situation before. ¨ Excuse me, sir? ¨ Lord Kyros looked up from Kalila to see a boy standing a few feet away from them ¨ What? ¨ the boy stepped closer towards them ¨ You need to stop he looks scared and uncomfortable. ¨ Lord Kyros laughed and shook his head ¨ No he doesn't he's perfectly fine. ¨ Kalila recognized the voice as the brown-eyed boy who magically vanished the other day in the bathroom, he turned his head to get Kyros's hand off his mouth ¨ Please help me! ¨ Kyros smacked Kalila and forcefully turned his head back¨ Shut up boy and do what you're told. ¨ The pain from being smacked stung his face for a few moments he started to tear up and the Boy noticed this he ran into Lord Kyros to get him off Kalila "get out of here now! ¨ Kalila stood up as quickly as he could and ran back in the direction they had come from. He heard a scream from behind him and assumed it was from Kyros he started to turn around but his head magically snapped forward and he arrived back at the Carriages and servants ¨ Kalila? what's wrong where's Lord Kyros? ¨ he looked at their confused faces and didn't know what to tell them. ¨ Nothing's wrong! don't worry about it I'm just not feeling well and he's down there packing up the picnic. ¨ The servants nodded their heads and resumed their conversations, Danae walked over to Kalila and inspected his cheek ¨ Why is your cheek red? ¨ He looked down at the ground ¨ I tripped walking back up here. ¨ She eyed him suspiciously and then dropped it, A few minuted later Lord Kyros walked back up to them and looked at Kalila then at the servants and smiled "Kalila you dropped this. ¨ He waved the box at Kalila so he walked over to him and whispered ¨ You didn't tell them, did you? ¨ Kalila shook his head and then looked at Lord Kyros ¨ Good boy ¨ He handed Kalila the box and walked towards his Carriage ¨ Until next time Kalila. ¨ He watched as Lord Kyros claimed inside his carriage and was followed by his servants. ¨ Until next time Lord Kyros. ¨ Kalila got inside his carriage and opened the box as soon as it started moving back home. ¨ He gave you a bracelet! how wonderful. ¨ Kalila looked at Danae and then slid it onto her wrist ¨ You can have it until I see him again. ¨ Danae looked at Kalila confused and then placed a hand on his shoulder ¨ I can tell something is wrong Kalila. ¨ He shook his head and smiled at her ¨ Nothing is wrong Danae please stop thinking about it. ¨ He turned away from her and watched the outside passing by as they got closer and closer towards his home.Once they had arrived back home Kalila went straight to his Father to tell him a lie about what had happened earlier he kept a lot of the original details up until it had gotten weird. ¨ He also gifted me a bracelet but it's too big so I'm letting Danae wear it until I see him again. His father shook his head in disapproval ¨ What if she shows up unexpectedly and she's wearing it? ¨ Kalila looked at His father's face and then looked down at the floor ¨ I'm sorry I never thought about it like that Father. ¨ He shook his head and then patted Kalila on the shoulder ¨ it's fine just don't let it happen again. ¨ Kalila nodded his head and then exited the Andron and walked up to his room he slowly took off all of the jewelry and the garments he had worn that day he then slipped on his simple sleeping attire before climbing into the bed and sobbing he laid in bed crying for what felt like hours before he noticed the arms around his waist and the chin on his shoulder ¨ Is it you Mystery boy? ¨ The brown-eyed boy smirked and whispered into Kalila's ear ¨ You guessed it. ¨ Kalila turned around and looked at him ¨ Who and what are you? ¨ The Beautiful boy placed his forehead on Kalila's and closed his eyes ¨ you'll find out eventually but until then you can call me Kypros. ¨ Kalila pulled himself closer to Kypros and closed his eyes ¨ That isn't a name its a city. ¨ Kypros chuckled and ran his fingers up and down Kalila's spine ¨ I know.¨ The two of them lay in each other's embrace only speaking every so often for hours slowly becoming the best of friends until Kalila had fallen asleep dreaming about Kypros and so this caused Kypros to stop running his fingers either through Kalila's hair or up and down his spine. Kypros lay there smiling for a little bit before he turned into sparkling gold glitter and it was like he never had existed in that room leaving Kalila alone to think and dream about him in both romantic and platonic ways.
