"I still cant believe Agatha ran off with the power" I grumble under my breath as Kie put Beer into a cooler, "its gonna be boiling tonight" I yawn as I grab some brownies out of the cupboard and throw them in the box, "mhm no air conditioning" Kie responds shutting the cooler lid. We walk out of the restraint that dad drove us to this morning and the boys picked us up from there.

"Oh top o' the morning' to ya" JJ says in a horrendous Irish accent, I cringe and pope laughs at me whilst Kie says morning, John B repeats it back to her and as me and Kie walk down the ramp, pope asks if we got some juice boxes, "you know, just some yoghurts and carrot sticks" Kie responds passing me the cooler and hopping onto the boat.

"How about my kind of juice box" JJ asks as he holds his hand out for me to grab so I can steady myself as I climb on, I place the box down and grab myself a beer, passing one to Kie and JJ as I do, JJs fingers brushing against mine causing us to both stop for just a second, I look up at the same time he does, we have momentary eye contact until I pull my hand away and look back to the cooler.

I offer one to Pope who declines and I keep it in my hand for John B sitting at the back of the boat with him, I pop them both open as John B steer us away from the dock then holds his hand out for his, "thankyou" he says keeping his eyes ahead on the water in front of us.

I lean back and take a sip of my beer before knocking my shades down so they cover my eyes, after a while I move to the front to sit next to Kie who lets me lean back against her, I put my head in her lap and turn my head to face the boys, Pope and John B swapped a while ago so that John B could enjoy his beer.

I dangle my legs off the side and sit up, "let me show you a party trick" JJ says loudly stepping up to the edge of the boat, "hey pope can you go a little faster please" JJ asks and Pope nods happy to oblige, "oh god here we go, i'm moving" John B complains as he moves to sit behind Pope.

Kie just laughs and I look at her questioningly, she laughs and shrugs her shoulders as John B whines about this being attempted 6000 times, "I got this, its gonna work!" JJ mutter confidently, he lifts the beer to his mouth as Pope speeds up, Beer flies back, hitting us all and ending up nowhere near JJs mouth.

"Your joking JJ stop" I yell as I cover my face with my hands " oh my god your getting beer in my hair" Kie cries, turning her head ways as Pope encourages him to calm down "alright your done" John B yells when JJ doesn't listen to Pope, he carry's on still attempting to get the beer into his mouth, "stop" Pope yells but he still doesn't listen I laugh at the disobedience when i'm quite literally hurtled off the boat face first.

I crash into the water and swim back up, my face stinging from the impact, I gasp for air and put my hands too my face as I lightly tread the water, "you ok JJ, Chloe" John B yells out from the boat once he realises neither of us are on it, "I think my heels touched the back off my head" JJ exaggerates at the same time I whine "I feel like I've been bitch slapped".

John B asks everyone else if they're okay whilst JJ celebrates the fact he saved the beer, I can hear splashing as JJ swims over to me, one hand snakes it way round my waist and our legs kick together as we both tread the water, he uses his other hand to grip onto my leg and pull my legs up so that they're latched around his waist, I continue to cover my face as this happens until JJ gently uses the hand that isn't holding me in place by my waist, to gently pry my hands away from my face.

"Oh shit that looks really bad, does it sting?" he mutters gently as I bring my hands down to rest on his shoulders, "does it sting" I respond mockingly back and he grins "the fall hasn't affected you mentally at least" he responds cockily and I slap him on the chest, "how red is it?" I ask, he goes to respond but Pope talks over him saying he's seen a boat.
