Pokemon Flaming Blue

5. Starters!

Lance, Landon, and Jenny along with Professor Oak, walked down the steps to the room where the Pokemon Starters were kept. "What Pokemon are you gonna choose, Lance?" Landon asked as the walked done a long hallway "Well, I was gonna go with Bulbasaur but.. you know Squirtles pretty cool to!" Lance looked back at Landon for advice, Landon replied "Well, if you look at it Statistics wise Squrtiles a better choose" Lance looked confused, he questioned "Why?" Landon said "Well, you see when you have Squrtile he Evolves quicker than Bulbasaur, which means he will get more attacks" Lance turned to Landon and said "I guess so.." Lance was cut off, when the finally entered a room, with a table in the center with a blanket, or cloth covering it. Professor Oak walked to the center of the room and began to say "WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF POKEM.."  "UGGGHHH NOT THAT SPEECH AGAIN! LETS GET ON WITH IT!" Jenny screeched, Professor Oak, was about to say something, but refused to make her anymore angry, "Very well, umm on this table.." Professor Oak took of the blanket and continued "You will find three Pokeballs.. in each of them are three different Pokemon, there is .." Professor Oak pointed to a screen behind him " Bulbasaur!" a picture of green pokemon with a flower bud on its back "SWEET!" Landon said, enchanted by the HD of the screen, "The second choice is Squrtile!" A picture of a blue pokemon with a brown shell on its back appeared" Landon still with his jaw dropped, "And the last choice is Charmander!" A picture of an orange pokemon with green eyes and a tail that had a burning fire. "THATS MINE!!" Jenny called out in the silence, Lance looked at Landon and mouthed the words COVER YOUR HEAD. Professor Oak looked at Jenny and was about to say something but, again held it back. "Now, we just need to find out who goes first!" Jenny raised her hand and said "Thats ME!" Professor Oak Protested "Well, Jenny Lance and Landon were here before you so they actually have the right to go first" Her mouth dropped open, turned to look at us and said "FINE! whatever!!" she sat down in a chair in a corner.. potting .. like a 2 year old. Profesor Oak looked at us and opened his mouth but no words came out because Jenny was screaming something else " DON'T CHOOSE CHARMANDER!!" She screeched. Professor Oak shook his head "No please, choose whatever one you like" Landon got up quick so he could choose first "Oh trust me, I will!"
