7. PokeDexs And A Challenge

Professor Oak said "Wait! Before you leave! I have something for you!" As Professor Oak said this he walked out of the Starter Room and down the hallway, Landon looked at Jenny thinking she was going to tackle him and throw him out the window, instead she just sat there staring at her Poke ball. Landon looked at Lance and asked him "Hey! so when are we gonna battle?" Lance looked at him and said "The second we get our PokeDexs!" Landon nodded his head with enthusiasm Jenny looked up from her Poke ball and said "Think again!" Lance and Landon looked up and turned around to see Jenny up on her feet clutching her Poke ball "The first and last Trainer you are facing is ME!" Landon VERY annoyed said "And if I don't want to!" Jenny countered "Then EVERYONE in Kanto is going to know that you are scared of me!" Landon pursed his lips and was about to say something until Professor Oak came back in, "Come on! I was gone for five seconds!" Lance nodded his head and agreed "Tell me about it!" Jenny and Landon both sighed and turned to Professor Oak, He began "Well, I have something for you" Professor Oak reached in his pocket and pulled out 3 red square shaped things. "What on earth are thoughs!" Jenny screeched, As Landon rolled his eyes, Professor Oak began "These are called, Pokedexs" He said as he handed one to each of them "They record data for the Pokemon you catch, and the Pokemon you encounter" Landon opened his right away, It had a screen, Probably for the picture of the Pokemon he thought. "But the only way to get the full Data of the Pokemon is to catch it yourself!" Lance looked up from his PokeDex and asked "Don't we need Poke balls to do that?" Professor Oak put his finger up and reached in his other pocket. He pulled out three Poke balls "Here we are! One for each of you" he started handing out the poke balls when Jenny interrupted "Can mine come in Pink?" Professor Oak handed her the (Red) Poke Ball and said "umm, no sweety" she groaned and said "WHATEVER!" Landon rolled his eyes. Professor Oak stood in front of all of them and said "Well it looks like your ready!" Landon looked at his PokeDex and Poke ball, he couldn't believe it especially his FIRST Pokemon, Charmander! Professor Oak continued "You three are ready, go out into the world and catch some fascinating Pokemon, feel up your Pokedexs, win badges, and become the Pokemon Master you all can be!"
