"I AM SO MUCH FASTER THAN YOU!" Lance hurled back at Landon when they raced through Pallet Town to Professor Oaks Lab. "Oh YEAH! WE'LL SEE!" Landon Yelled. Landon started to speed up right at Lance's shoes, they were head to head "Ughh just because you can match me doesn't mean you can beat me!" Seems like these two are always agruing and trying to compete. They came to the Labs doors and both opened the doors as fast as they could so the looked faster then eachother. Lance and Landon slowed down once they saw Professor Oak standing in the center of the room. Landon whispered "Hey I chose first got it" Lance looked at Landon and shook his head. Once the boys reached Professor Oak, he began "Well I knew you two would come here sooner or later, I remember when you two were babies staring at all the Pokemon out your window!" Lance and Landon smiled, they remembered when Proffesor Oak used to go out in the tall grass looking for Pokemon to study. Since Professor Oak is much older then before he prefers to stay inside."You to have grown! how old are you two anyway?" Landon answered first "I'm 12 years old!" Professor Oak looked astonished, Lance was then quick to answer aswell "I am 13 years old!" Professor Oak looked even more amazed! He soon answered "Well, I bet you two want your starters but we just have to wait for one more person" Landon looked at the Professor and questioned "Wait, who else?"
