MARGO SAT IN STUDY HALL, silently drawing in her notebook. She was still shaken up from last night's events. When the Barber's dropped her off at home, she ran into the house, eyes puffy and nose bright. She instantly found comfort in her mother's embrace. Melissa comforted her daughter, watching their favorite movie and drinking tea to ease the stress.

Margo did not want to be at school right now, with all the people gossiping about Jacob's arrest. From all the uncomfortable stares and whispers, it was sure going to be a long day for the redhead.

"Hey." Said Sarah, softly.

"Hey." The redhead mumbled back.

Sarah sighed, sitting next to her gloomy best friend. She plopped her backpack on the ground, grabbing her laptop in the process.

"Hey, Jacob's going to be fine."

Margo looked up, setting her red mechanical pencil on the desk. "I know. It's just, I wish I could be there with him y'know?"

Sarah nodded. "I think Jacob wouldn't want you to worry so much about him, Mar."

Margo chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
